When no one believed in Mark Taylor's potential

The 1989 Ashes series was an eventful one. It was Mark Taylor's first series in England.
On the day before the first Test started at Headingley, Taylor went to the tent of Ladbrokes, the bookies, and checked out the odds for all the players.

He ran a finger down the 'make the first 100' list down to 33/1- Moody and Hughes.

He didn't even make the list!

P.S. He scored 136 in the first innings of the match.
