They were all thankful to Stuart Surridge.
According to many in the list, Surridge was instrumental in making them injury-free throughout their long careers.

They were all part of his tree-felling squads. They used to spend the winter there. Most of them said that this helped them escape the back-trouble which is quite common in a fast bowler's life.
