On an occasion when the drinks were brought out to the field, an Australian barracker, seeing the Australian captain about to offer Jardine a drink, shouted, "Don't give him a drink! Let the ____ die of thirst!"
Of course, this was from the Bodyline series. The captains were Bill Woodfull and Douglas Jardine.
