Mike Brearley, in his book 'The Art of Captaincy', criticised Keith Andrew and his Northants team. He thought they were very ordinary.
Andrew, popularly known as KV, protested the view and even wrote a letter to the editor of a leading magazine in the 1980s. Brearley made amends.
