I'm the captain and I'm sorry

On November 25th 1958, the telephone rang in Neil Harvey's office in Kent Street, Sydney. Richie Benaud was at the other end of the telephone.

"Guess who's captain?", he asked.

"You are", Harvey replied.

"That's right," said Benaud. "I'm sorry. I thought you might have got it."

Harvey never regretted it and Benaud was one of his best mates. He was glad to be his vice-captain.
