Gregory

Jack Gregory was an Australian fast bowler who played in the 1920s.

He avoided the press after being misquoted once.
In 1973, cricket historian David Frith drove 320 kms to find him for a chat.
In Frith's words, he was 'a cricketing Garbo'.

Gregory died weeks later.
