Welcome back.. West Indies hand the ball to Sunil Narine. This will be interesting. They know Dilshan and Perera are the key for Sri Lanka. Here we go..

In the contemporary dictionary of West Indian batting, there are either gorgeous big hits or uncharacteristic noughts. The continuum doesn't exist, perhaps. After a slow start, thanks to a wily Malinga and an immaculate Kulasekara, Charles and Fletcher thereafter exploded to take Windies to 61 runs in 6 overs. Sri Lanka then turned to their man-with-the-golden-arm in Siriwardana for some respite and he obliged - his arm-balls striking twice in two overs. A lazy walk cost Samuels his wicket and Chameera, who had bled runs early on, struck soon after by bouncing out big-hitting Russell. The Malinga-Kulasekara duo returned to choke runs, consuming Pollard in the process, and West Indies trickled their way to 162. Join us back in a few minutes for the Sri Lankan reply.

Andre Fletcher and Charles are at the crease. Andre Fletcher is on strike. Malinga will open the attack

That brings the curtains down on the series. Sri Lanka have been the superior side having won the Test and ODI series. They had won the first T20 game as well, and if West Indies had not turned up today, it would have been one-way traffic. However, they did and levelled the series. There is plenty of cricket coming your way. Do join us back for all the action. Until next time, take care and Cya!

Dilshan: "I am in great form and handling the middle overs well. It was a good catch (the one Holder took to dismiss him). I am disappointed that I couldn't get the team through. Bravo and Pollard bowled very well in the middle overs. The wicket got slow and was difficult to bat. I am still enjoying my cricket moving around in the field. I enjoy playing with the youngsters."

Tillakaratne Dilshan is the Man of the Series. The opener scored 108 runs and managed to notch up fifties in both the games.

Sammy: "We had a good discussion today in the team meeting. We had not played T20 cricket for a while. So, it took us some time to get into our groove. The guys who batted in the middle told that if we take the pace off the ball, it is difficult to score. We were desperate to get a win. The World T20 is a long way away and we hope to play more T20 games. The guys play all around the world, but it would be nice to get some good competitive cricket before the World T20."

Malinga: "I think it was a good wicket. It was difficult to bowl first. But it is all part of the T20 game. Overall we are doing good and I am happy with all the three departments. The bowlers did a good job to pull them back to 160."

Bravo: "Well played to the entire team. We had a very good team meeting today morning. The openers gave a good start and that helped us get to 162. It was very challenging and my role is to stabilize the innings. Denesh (Ramdin) came in and played a good knock. We have a very good bowling unit and Sammy led us well. I am the anchor who nudges it around and Denesh plays spin very well. Everything was very good and we are very happy."

Dwayne Bravo is the Man of the Match for his all-round performance. He scored 31 and registered his best T20I figures.

Dilshan fought for most part of the innings but failed to see his side home, courtesy an outstanding catch from Jason Holder at sweeper cover. The West Indian out fielding was superb to say the least. Also Darren Sammy did some smart captaincy and kept the run rate in check by regular bowling changes. He made it a point to rotate Sunil Narine nicely. Every time the magician came, he almost put a break on the run flow. In the end, the ever-mounting asking rate proved to be the demon and devoured the Sri Lankan lower middle order and tail. A consolation win for the Calypso boys to share the T20I series.

Finally West Indies have registered a win on the tour. Capping off their stay in Sri Lanka with a win would provide some respite, else it would have been a poor expedition for the visitors. After posting 162 on the board, courtesy contributions from Johnson Charles and Ramdin, it was left for the bowlers to accomplish the task. And they looked at it right from the start, optimizing the slowness of the pitch by rolling fingers on the ball more often than not.
