All of us are looking forward to face them at home."

For MUM, it was the century stand between Parthiv Patel and Ambati Rayudu that had propelled them to a very good total. Jos Buttler also thrilled the fans with his pyrotechnics. On the other hand, PUN's fielding was largely below par and that didn't help their cause in the end.

Riding on Glenn Maxwell and Shaun Marsh's breezy knocks, PUN hung on by their fingernails for a while, but eventually slipped towards a defeat. Bumrah snuffed out PUN's slim hopes by castling Maxwell with a slower one. PUN looked to lift the tempo a bit too late and that perhaps cost them dear. The Kiwi duo of Southee and McClenaghan put up fine efforts. Bumrah, too, mixed it up well in the slog overs.
