Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

Welcome back for the chase. The players are making their way out to the middle. Can England get McCullum early? Willey to open the attack with a man at slip.

Root: 'I think it's a good score on that wicket. As soon as the ball got softer, it became a little harder to hit those shots. The way we played even though we kept losing wickets was really good. We obviously will have to bowl well. I think you have to try and improvise in this format. We have to be quite smart with the ball. We have the talent in the dressing room to defend this.'

Just when things looked a bit leaden, Billings and Root handed a nightmare to the elder McCullum in his final over. Nathan, who conceded 23 in his 3 overs, leaked 23 in his final over which comprised of 4 fours and a six. McClenaghan managed to send back Billings and Root in successive overs, not before the latter registered his second T20I fifty. David Willey smoked a maximum off the second ball he faced on debut and that's all he could manage. He was gone for a well-judged catch from Santner. Stokes carried on and pulled some useful runs towards the end alongside Rashid. At this stage, target looks defensible but England would feel they were 20 runs short maybe.

Morgan opted to bat on a pitch which seemed like an absolute belter. Jason Roy, after seeing off Mitchell Santner in the first over, got England to a blazing start as he launched McClenaghan to 2 sixes in his first over. A poor call for a single from Hales consumed Roy's wicket who looked in splendid touch. Hales resisted for a while and smashed a few off Santner. The debutant, however, came back strongly, claiming the wickets of Hales and Bairstow in his final over. Morgan got out soon as he tried to take the attack to the opposition. The visitors reined things back post Hales' wicket.

Stokes 24(13) Adil Rashid 7(3) Matt Henry 4-0-32-1

19.6 - Matt Henry to Stokes, FOUR, jumps up and pulls this slower bumper through square leg, the fielder at deep mid-wicket didn't spot it early and it races away to the fence. Nice way to finish the innings on a high

19.5 - Matt Henry to Stokes, no run, good ball from Henry, a bumper angling away just outside off, Stokes leaves it alone. The umpire deems it a legal ball and Stokes is not happy with that call

19.4 - Matt Henry to Adil Rashid, 1 run, backs away and Henry bowls another slower one, he opens the face of the bat and guides it to the left of short third man, can't beat the man though and the batsmen take a single

19.3 - Matt Henry to Adil Rashid, FOUR, back-of-the-hand slower ball outside off, almost on a yorker length. Rashid waits for the ball to arrive, opens the face of the bat late and gets it fine and to the left of short third man, who dives but fails to stop the ball. It hurries across the turf and crashes into the fence

19.2 - Matt Henry to Stokes, 1 run, cuts this short and wide delivery to the left of backward point, Williamson too was not able to see the ball clearly because of the sun, but did well to dive to his left and save some runs for his team. Can't prevent the single though

19.1 - Matt Henry to Stokes, FOUR, full delivery well wide outside off, Stokes reaches out and drives it to the left of extra cover, who didn't move an inch. He might have been blinded by the sun there. Long-off runs to his right but the ball wins the race. That was smashed by Stokes

1.3 - McClenaghan to Jason Roy, 2 runs, once more goes for the heave, the length was not there, line was also just outside off, drags it off the inside half to deep backward square leg, couple taken

1.2 - McClenaghan to Jason Roy, SIX, wow! That is some hit from Roy. Stokes loved it in the dugout. He too went wow. Gives the charge to McClenaghan, converts it into a length delivery, swings through the line and sends it soaring over wide long-on for the first six of the game. That got the crowd going as well

This is Sidhant Maheshwari, signing off on behalf of Krishna, Raju and my co-commentators, Akshay Maanay and Ramakrishnan. See you tomorrow.

So, that's all we have for you from this game. What a series, in fact what a tour this has been! England somehow managed to edge ahead in the latter stages of the tour and will now be gearing up for the Aussie challenge. New Zealand, on the other hand, will have a break from international cricket now. The action though continues and tomorrow, Bangladesh and India will lock horns for one final time in their 3-match ODI series. Don't forget to join us then.

Root: 'I feel pretty good at the crease at the moment. Fingers crossed that it will continue during the summer. I told that the boys that the pitch is not all that easy to play, if we took wickets, it will be hard for them to chase it down and the bowlers did that. We can enjoy what we have achieved as a side, but we need to keep moving forward. We need to keep working harder as well. Everyone's going to play with freedom this summer. It is refreshing to see everyone commit to it and actually work hard on it. Hopefully, it can continue with the Australians. We will look to do this on a more consistent basis now. Our next opponents are Australia and it will be good if we get to see the back of Smith and a few others early.'

Joe Root is the Man of the Match for his 46-ball 68.

Morgan: 'It was very special. Coming out and playing in the same fashion like the ODIs was very pleasing. Root's hunger and determination to keep playing the way he does shows the mood in the dressing room. We were so off the mark in the World Cup. Coming back here, we knew we had a lot of work to do. It has been a quick turnaround. We continued to churn out runs with the bat. We will keep working on the skills as we go on. We will definitely learn more if we keep winning. The average age of the group is 24-25. As a captain, I am very excited about this side. Root and Buttler have led by example and hopefully, they can continue like that. We won the ODI series, we won this T20I, it gives us a lot of confidence going forward. We know that sometimes it might not come off, but mostly it will. A lot of credit to New Zealand, we have been chasing them in white ball cricket and we have tried to emulate them, it has been good so far. Everyone in the changing room realizes that what we have achieved is a start and there is a long way to go forward. I certainly feel that everyone has a lot more to give. I think it's going to be very exciting with the Ashes coming up.'

McCullum: 'Some of our batting was pretty amateurish. Credit to England that they got hold of us and played well throughout. I thought it was a par score as it was a very good surface. I wasn't unhappy at halftime. We got off to a reasonable start as well, but couldn't carry on. Williamson did well to keep us in the game longer. He's one of those guys who keeps doing his job. It is great to see him do what he has been doing for the past 18 months. Disappointed with the ODI series and obviously to lose here, but it has been a good series. We have learned some good lessons and we will keep developing. They played better than us. Morgan has led his side well, he also likes to play with the same style. England in the next 2 years will be a very exciting team if they keep going like this. It has been a long, long season for us. I am very pleased with the way our season has gone. We have achieved so much that we never did.'

Tour summary: What an amazing summer this has been! A hard-fought Test series followed by a memorable ODI series and then to wrap up - an enthralling T20I. It was all about skill and patience in Tests, both teams played some quality cricket and fittingly the series was squared. Then in the ODIs, both sides were neck-and-neck and offered a tough time to the statsmen. Both teams broke and set a few records while playing with a no-mercy attitude. The sheer aggression, which by far, is the current brand and ingredient of ODI cricket, was exhibited throughout the series. England managed to seal the series 3-2 despite New Zealand putting up a determined show. In the only T20I, England got the better of New Zealand courtesy Root's fifty and an all-round bowling show. Joe Root and Kane Williamson, the probable future captains of their respective sides scored fifties and signed off in style.

Earlier, England posted a massive total after skipper Morgan decided to bat. Root compiled his second T20I fifty and ensured that he held one end for more than 14 overs. Hales, Roy and Billings failed to convert their decent starts. Stokes' late cameo helped England reach a grand total. Mitchell Santner was the pick of the bowlers as he ended up with 2/28. Rest of the bowlers were clobbered and failed to exert pressure on the Englishmen.

Munro, came in and couldn't last long as he tried to be over ambitious too early. Ronchi got out in the same over trying to ramp one for a maximum. Williamson registered his second T20I fifty but he failed to get any support from the other end. England lost their last five wickets for just 4 runs and they never looked like winning the game since Ronchi's dismissal.

New Zealand got off to the best possible start as Guptill caressed Willey's first ball through cover-point. Baz and Williamson twinned a much-needed partnership as the duo scored 42 off 20 balls. Brendon, who was dismissed twice each by Finn and Wood in the ODI series, ensured that he hit a six against both the seamers. The Black Caps skipper, however, dragged one onto the stumps off Wood. Williamson, the Mr. Reliable of New Zealand, took on Rashid as he so often did in the ODI series. Taylor, who was dropped on 17 by Bairstow, didn't make England pay for the costly error. He got out the very next ball he faced and left his team in a spot of bother.

The players start the celebrations, hugging each other in delight. What an end to this memorable series. They walk off the field, exchanging handshakes with each other. The Black Caps players also walk out to congratulate their counterparts.

16.2 - Willey to McClenaghan, out Caught by Bairstow!! England win the only T20I comprehensively by a huge margin of 56 runs. New Zealand have lost their last 5 wickets for 4 runs.
