The players are out there, and this is such a pressure chase for DEL. A loss leaves them on the brink of elimination, so it's all right here in the now. Moment of truth!

Right through the innings, whenever the momentum seemed to be building, HYD stuttered with the loss of a wicket. It happened at the start, when Dhawan was left flummoxed by a stunning bit of fielding off his own bowling from Brathwaite. It happened when the Warner-Henriques partnership was about to take off. And then towards the end with both Warner and Morgan. DEL have kept themseleves in this courtesy some excellent fielding and bowling (for the most part). Carlos Brathwaite easily the pick of them with his added height fetching disconcerting bounce from a short of length. That being said, there is enough in there to keep the bowlers interested and it might be a tricky chase, given HYD's superior attack.

"It came at a crucial stage as they seemed to be getting away in the first six overs (the run-out). Pitch suited me well and I got extra bounce from a good length. I tried to stick to my guns. If you bend your back, there is something on offer. It's about guys putting their hands up, we don't have many superstars per se but if we can get a good partnership, that will be good," says Carlos Brathwaite. Wasn't he omnipresent on the field tonight!

Bhuvneshwar 13(7) N Ojha 16(14) Coulter-Nile 4-0-36-1

19.6 - Coulter-Nile to Bhuvneshwar, out Bhuvneshwar Run Out!! 1 run completed! Drills one down to long-on, and you can't blame him for intent as he tries his best to make it back for the second but the throw is a good one and de Kock whips the bails off quickly to find him 6 inches short. Bhuvneshwar run out (Nair/de Kock) 13(7) [4s-2]

Coulter-Nile to Bhuvneshwar, THAT'S OUT!! Run Out!!

19.5 - Coulter-Nile to Bhuvneshwar, 2 runs, full ball wide of off stump from round the wicket, Bhuvi swipes hard but slices it down to mid-off where the captain misfields

19.4 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, 1 run, pacy short of length delivery tucking Ojha up as he is crammed on the attempted pull, mistimes it through square leg

19.3 - Coulter-Nile to Bhuvneshwar, 1 run, oh Zaheer, you have to give it to him. Didn't look the most elegant but cuts it off all the same. Full toss driven to the left of mid-off, Zaheer lumbers across and dives to stop

19.2 - Coulter-Nile to Bhuvneshwar, no run, NCN pulls the length back and gets it to whistle over the attempted slog. Bhuvi was down the track but got nowhere near it

19.1 - Coulter-Nile to Bhuvneshwar, FOUR, the 150 is crossed as Bhuvi backs away, creates enough room and smacks a length ball over mid-off. Handy runs!

Bhuvneshwar 5(2) N Ojha 15(13) Zaheer 4-0-26-0

18.6 - Zaheer to Bhuvneshwar, 1 run, short of length delivery outside off, Bhuvi pats it down to third man and will keep strike for the final over

18.5 - Zaheer to Bhuvneshwar, FOUR, mid-on is up and Bhuvi has flat-batted it over him. He has sliced it more than anything to rob the timing but has enough wood to clear the infield and also beat long-off running across

18.4 - Zaheer to N Ojha, 1 run, back of a length just outside off, chopped in front of backward point

18.3 - Zaheer to N Ojha, no run, cramps the batsman this time. Ojha wanted to get the cut away but is denied the space and fails to connect

18.2 - Zaheer to N Ojha, 2 runs, off-cutter on a good length just outside off, Ojha drives it uppishly through the covers and is always going for the second. Has to put in the dive in the end, but a direct-hit would have still had him

18.1 - Zaheer to N Ojha, SIX, Zaheer tries the short ball strategy and is pummeled over deep backward square. It's the pace which is the difference here, easily around 10 clicks slower than NCN. Ojha rocks back and nails the pull

Over: 18 6 2 W 2 0 1B HYD 135/6
N Ojha 6(9) Bhuvneshwar 0(0) Coulter-Nile 3-0-27-1

17.6 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, byes, 1 run, slower back of a length delivery outside off, Ojha swings and misses but the keeper has failed to collect and allows an extra

17.5 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, no run, rising short ball just outside off, Ojha tries to ramp it away but fails to connect

17.4 - Coulter-Nile to N Ojha, 2 runs, short again and it's working. Ojha mistimes the pull off the splice and hits it in the air over the square leg region. The man in the deep is more towards mid-wicket, so an easy two

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, right handed bat, comes to the crease

17.3 - Coulter-Nile to Eoin Morgan, out Caught by Brathwaite!! DEL are doing so well here to keep gnawing away at the wickets. Just when Morgan gave the impression of breaking free, he is dismissed. Another pacy short ball just outside off, Morgan is a bit tardy in the pull and gets it high on the bat to lob it straight towards long-on where Brathwaite isn't dropping them. Eoin Morgan c Brathwaite b Coulter-Nile 14(10) [6s-1]

Coulter-Nile to Eoin Morgan, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

17.2 - Coulter-Nile to Eoin Morgan, 2 runs, pacy short of length delivery which skids on and hits Morgan high on the bat as he is rushed into the pull. Skews it to the left of long-off who cuts it off

17.1 - Coulter-Nile to Eoin Morgan, SIX, it's not a bad ball at all. A fullish off-cutter which NCN has pushed well wide of off. But such is the power of this man. Stretches out and absolutely clobbers it into the long-on stands

Nathan Coulter-Nile [2.0-0-17-0] is back into the attack

Over: 17 1 1 1 0 1 0 HYD 124/5
N Ojha 4(6) Eoin Morgan 6(7) Zaheer 3-0-12-0

16.6 - Zaheer to N Ojha, no run, fullish and driven to mid-on. They think about the single but decide otherwise

16.5 - Zaheer to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, jumps out of the crease to find himself at the receiving end of a full toss, he is hurried into a flick straight to mid-wicket

16.4 - Zaheer to Eoin Morgan, no run, oh so close! Morgan has shuffled well across to get inside the line of a back of a length slower ball and misses it altogether. Nearly shaved the leg-stump

16.3 - Zaheer to N Ojha, 1 run, back of a length delivery around leg, clipped wide of mid-wicket

16.2 - Zaheer to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, oh Rishabh Pant, only if! He's dropped one at cover! Morgan is completely duped by a slower ball, he's early into the drive and goes reaching out for it. Despite his best attempts to check the shot by removing the bottom hand, he can't keep it down. It's to the left of Pant who dives across with both hands but the ball hits the heel of his palms and pops out

With two new batsmen at the crease, and with the no. of wickets which have been lost, HYD might be a bit subdued at a stage when they should be aiming for the cleaners

16.1 - Zaheer to N Ojha, 1 run, uses the angle to his benefit and runs it down to third man with an open bat-face

Zaheer Khan [2.0-0-8-0] is back into the attack

15.6 - Brathwaite to N Ojha, 1 run, back of a length outside off, Ojha steers it down towards third man. They ponder a second run but the fielder is quick to swoop in

15.5 - Brathwaite to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, Brathwaite is generating good bounce and he is peppering the short of length region, Morgan rides it by getting on his toes and pats it in front of backward point

15.4 - Brathwaite to N Ojha, 1 run, back of a length delivery on the hips, Ojha tucks it down to fine leg

15.3 - Brathwaite to N Ojha, no run, short of length delivery which makes Ojha jump as he drops it at his feet with soft hands

Naman Ojha, right handed bat, comes to the crease

15.2 - Brathwaite to Warner, out Caught by Mishra!! Brathwaite continues to shine and he gets big on Warner this time with the extra bounce. Warner sees the width and flashes hard, aiming more towards backward point. But the ball climbs off the deck, gets him more towards the top-edge and skews away straight to third man. Warner c Mishra b Brathwaite 73(56) [4s-8 6s-1]

Brathwaite to Warner, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

15.1 - Brathwaite to Warner, 2 runs, one step towards the off-side allows Warner access to a short ball which is very wide, and he cuts it through the cover region. He's absolutely speeding between the wickets

Carlos Brathwaite [3.0-0-22-1] is back into the attack

Over: 15 1 1 2 1 1 1 HYD 115/4
Warner 71(54) Eoin Morgan 3(3) Mishra 3-0-21-0

14.6 - Mishra to Warner, 1 run, another one fired in with the seam upright, it's on leg stump and leaves Warner cramped so he works it down to long-on

14.5 - Mishra to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, loopy leg-break on middle and leg, gently nudged with the turn through square leg

14.4 - Mishra to Warner, 1 run, looked like the seam-up quicker one from Mishy, skids on from a back of a length and is tapped down to long-off

14.3 - Mishra to Warner, 2 runs, a googly turning from outside leg, Warner softly clips it through the square leg region and is looking for two straightaway. This is where he is exploiting the size of the ground so well

14.2 - Mishra to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, this one has been fired full and wide of off, Morgan leans across and drives it to long-off

14.1 - Mishra to Warner, 1 run, you can see how the spinners are staying away from dropping it in his half. Everything is on a back of a length and Warner doesn't have the room with this one either. Tamely cuts it wide of cover

Amit Mishra [2.0-0-14-0] is back into the attack

Over: 14 4 2 W 1 1 1 HYD 108/4
Warner 66(50) Eoin Morgan 1(1) Duminy 1-0-9-1

13.6 - Duminy to Warner, 1 run, flatter and quicker through the air, slightly short outside off which is enough to prompt Warner into hopping back and he chops it through the covers

13.5 - Duminy to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, tossed up around off, Morgan wades forward and pushes it with the turn down to long-off

13.4 - Duminy to Warner, 1 run, this is what he has done so well against the spinners. Just clears his front leg to a ball drifting in as close as off and flat-bats the drive. Straight to extra-cover this time, but he hares across for a single

Eoin Morgan, left handed bat, comes to the crease

13.3 - Duminy to Henriques, out Caught by Negi!! This is a very timely breakthrough, with the duo being on the charge. Let me tell you, on most Indian grounds this would have cleared the ropes. But these are mammoth boundaries and Henriques chose the biggest one of them all. He seemed to have timed the slog-sweep well, but not well enough apparently. Negi pedals back at cow corner, keeps his eyes transfixed on the ball and cups it overhead. The time-out has been asked for. Henriques c Negi b Duminy 18(13) [4s-2]

Duminy to Henriques, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

13.2 - Duminy to Henriques, 2 runs, quicker through the air, a bit too full though and Henriques has drilled it through the extra-cover region. An easy couple as sweeper cover has a lot of work to do

13.1 - Duminy to Henriques, FOUR, that's a pumping swing of the arms and it's landed just a yard inside the wide long-on ropes. Henriques had the room to play with as the ball was drifting across from round the wicket and allowed Henriques a free swing

Jean-Paul Duminy, right-arm off break, comes into the attack

12.5 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, 1 run, helps him with the line, Warner swipes to short fine

12.4 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, no run, beaten again! Lovely offspinner just outside off, Warner pokes and misses

12.3 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, no run, rippah! Looked like the seam-up delivery. Pitched around off, lured Warner into the front foot, nipped away beating his outside edge. Warner did well to keep his balance despite falling over

12.2 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, FOUR, touch short and Warner says "Thank you" as he rocks back and nails the pull wide of mid-on. Battered!

12.1 - Jayant Yadav to Warner, 2 runs, bowls it straight on off-stump, Warner with his electric movements, decides to drill this through the covers. Brathwaite is too deep and the duo run a couple

11.5 - Brathwaite to Warner, 1 run, all arms and wrists is David Warner as he spanks this full ball through extra cover

11.4 - Brathwaite to Warner, SIX, slower full delivery and Warner has picked the bones out of it. Dropped to one knee and delivered it into the long-on planet with a thumping swing of the willow. Fetch that!

11.3 - Brathwaite to Warner, no run, splice-jarring length outside off, Warner rises on his toes and pushes awkwardly into the off-side

11.2 - Brathwaite to Henriques, 1 run, off pace delivery bowled a little too straight, wristily worked towards mid-wicket

11.1 - Brathwaite to Warner, 1 run, fifty for David Warner - Quite a common term in this T20 League, isn't it? Gets there with a tuck to mid-wicket, just a decent handshake from his partner. He knows there's still job to be done

10.4 - Mishra to Warner, FOUR, that's a right-hander's sweep and boy! Didn't Warner place it perfectly? Awesome stuff from the HYD skipper. Knelt down and swapped his arms to slot it wide of a diving short third man

10.3 - Mishra to Henriques, 1 run, waits inside the crease and checks his uppish drive, drops well in front of deep mid-on

9.5 - Brathwaite to Henriques, no run, goodish length curling in around off, forward and across again, to the same fieldsman

9.4 - Brathwaite to Henriques, no run, walks forward and across and keeps the attempted drive down, in front of short mid-wicket

A forced Strategic time-out. DEL have done well by stemming the run flow after Warner's early blitz. Sometimes, those energy in the field to effect run outs might just act as a momentum shift. Zak to recommence, is busy in controlling the field traffic. Nope! It's Carlos Brathwaite

6.4 - Mishra to Warner, out Deepak Hooda Run Out!! DEL are finding their way to get wickets. Another terrific run out. Not as good as the previous one, but nice presence of mind from Mishy. 0.6 - Zaheer to Dhawan, no run, and again! This time he angles it in and gets a wee bit of movement around off-stump, Dhawan is forced to stay back and stab it towards cover. Fantastic first over from Zak

0.5 - Zaheer to Dhawan, no run, absolutely no feet from Shikhar Dhawan! Crackerjack from Zak, bowls a lovely outswinger in the corridor of uncertainty. Dhawan looks to grope, but is lucky not to have nicked that. Classical Test match bowling!

0.4 - Zaheer to Warner, 1 run, cramps Warner for room by darting it in late, around off and middle, Warner opens the bat face and glides it sligtly wide of backward point and sets off for a quick single

0.3 - Zaheer to Warner, no run, bowls it further wide of off from a length, Warner chops off the back foot, straight towards backward point

0.2 - Zaheer to Warner, no run, offers a bit of width with little bit of away swing, Warner drives with soft hands and finds Samson at cover

0.1 - Zaheer to Warner, no run, gentle length ball with a hint of inswing, straight at the stumps, Warner hops and bunts it back to Zak

Warner and Dhawan are at the crease. Warner is on strike. Zaheer will open the attack

What. A. Game. A T20 on a bunsen this was, given the high stakes involved. A win keeps Delhi in the fray and a loss for Hyderabad tests the patience of their scintillating campaign further. Nth time that we have missed out on a bowl out.. err.. super over. What's an T20 League without that, eh? And with that redundant query, this irony-spotter, this sarcasm-seeker in Pratyush Sinha bids you good night on behalf of Raju Peethala and Sagar Chawla. And our forever in-the-zone scorer Naga. Ta-ta!

Karun Nair: "No words to describe it but it's up there with my best T20 League knocks. I have played a couple of seasons of T20 League now and I am used to adjusting from the longer formats. Don't change much, just the mindset changes. I wasn't connecting it very well; happy that I did tonight but happier that the team won."

Karun Nair is the Man of the Match

Zaheer: "Too much anxiety and pressure. Amazing how the boys fought out there - not only in batting but fielding too. Everyone wanted this win badly. Before the game, I said that we have had a great campaign and irrespective of the result, we will smile out there. We needed to win those crucial situations but we knew that we were going to hang in there till the end. Rahul (Dravid) is a bit intense in the dugout and I am a bit more relaxed. This season has been about the young guys who have been amazing (talking about Karun Nair). You have to enjoy the moments out there and embrace tough moments. This young side has been amazing. Carlos put his hand up after Warner and Dhawan started well, and he did it with a brilliant piece of fielding. It was about staying in the game for 20 overs. Not going to bed tonight early for sure (chuckles)."

Sanjay Manjrekar is on with the presentations..

"Fielding was sloppy. If you miss the chances, you pay. We thought 150 was par and sure it held up but it's a hard ground to defend. Big boundaries and Karun Nair played an exceptional knock. We have another game coming up and we have to refresh. We are in good form and we have to keep the momentum on," says Warner who I tell you is not smiling!

So, DEL stay in the hunt now. One more win and in all probability they will get through. The Hyderabad, well they would have liked to win this to be in the top two but that's how the cookie crumbles, I suppose.

It all depended on how DEL tuned their chase in the last 8 overs. And they were aided very well by the butter fingers of the HYD fielders with Warner and Bhuvneshwar dropping one each. Warner did eventually lap up Duminy. Then, Sran turned up a blinder at short third man to send back the dangerous Brathwaite. The last two overs bowled by Mustafizur and Bhuvi were gems. It was 2 off 1 with Nair on strike and he struck a four to win it for DEL.

The pitch had some bounce on offer. The saving grace for the bowlers also being the long square boundaries unlike some other grounds where even mishits and top-edges go for sixes. The strong seam attack of HYD did well to restrict DEL to 37/1 in the powerplay. With de Kock back in the hut inside the first six, HYD would have felt that the game could be steered in their control. But a good partnership of 73 ensued between Nair and Pant and that turned the screws on the HYD attack a bit. A stunner of a direct hit from Bhuvneshwar in the deep found the lazy Pant short of the crease. It was still a tough ask with the required rate hovering around 9 runs an over.

Nair 83(59) Samson 3(4) Bhuvneshwar 4-0-33-0

19.6 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, FOUR, how ironical! How ironical! This mistimed pull rolls under a diving Warner at mid-on and denies us a Super Over. Another missed chance for T20 League! Only if Warner had latched onto it, we could have been in for some fun. But.. Bhuvi had cleverly cut the length back, followed Nair with bounce to deny the room and Nair somehow managed to splice the pull under Warner -- who slammed himself hard into the pitch side-on and roared in disgust to see the ball scoot under his cupped and extended palms. What a top innings from Karun Nair this! As a result, Delhi stay alive and Hyderabad will have to wait a touch longer to seal a berth in the playoffs!

Warner is uber active in the middle. Delhi's dugout looks stunned in silence as Bhuvi has a chat with Warner.. VVS and Tom Moody manage a smile

19.5 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, FOUR, is that the moment? Warner sprints across from long-on, dives but the ball had wheels. Nair had flat-batted the shortish delivery down the ground and Warner, despite that effort, fell short. Super over? 2 needed off 1 ball..Wow. My fingers are shaking.. somebody get me on pills

19.4 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, leg byes, 1 run, slides this in on a very full length, Samson looks to clip it away but frisks it away off his pad. Was early into the shot and the fuller length cramped his bat swing. 6 needed off 2!

19.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, 1 run, another brilliant ball. Follows and handcuffs Nair with a short ball looping in at him. Nair arches back and does some more, but couldn't put in much on this makeshift ramp that drops towards short third man. Just a single. 7 off 3 needed

19.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, leg byes, 1 run, that's a lovely ball. Spears in the yorker in front of leg-stump given Samson's readymade room. The batsman attempts a squeeze-out, the ball ricochets onto the back boot and rolls to be cut off by deep backward square leg

19.1 - Bhuvneshwar to Samson, 2 runs, not much pace on this short of length delivery darting across to leg. Samson turned around and uppishly pulled it between backward square leg and the fine leg fielder. More mistimed but it fetched two important runs. Gold dust to say the least

11 runs off the last over! What high stakes on this. Who do you think will win? A loss makes equation polygonal for DEL and a win for HYD guarantees them a top-two spot. Bhuvi has the ball..

Nair 74(56) Samson 1(1) Mustafizur 4-0-24-1

18.6 - Mustafizur to Nair, 2 runs, gets behind the line of this cutter bowled on a length outside off. Did well to shuffle across and punch this for a brace to long-on

18.5 - Mustafizur to Nair, 2 runs, clipped to deep mid-wicket this, early call for two and Nair had made it back in time. A run out appeal sent upstairs but Nair had breezed into the crease there

Another run out appeal sent upstairs! These two teams are giving their all. Looks not out to my naked eyes (sheathed by thick glasses).. Not out it is!

18.4 - Mustafizur to Nair, no run, that's Mustafizur's USP. Nair backs away to make room and Mustafizur cleverly pings it full and wide outside off. A deception of the highest order.. and a definite embarrassment for Nair. Delhi need 15 runs in 8 balls

18.3 - Mustafizur to Samson, 1 run, this clip was uppish. Leg-stump delivery and Samson was early into it. Fell well wide and short of a shuffling Warner at long-on

Sanju Samson, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.2 - Mustafizur to Brathwaite, out Caught by Barinder!! That Superman moment for Sran! What a catch this is! A certain posterboy moment. Brathwaite looked to take on the cutter but the dart off the pitch was superlative to whatever Brathwaite had planned. Still threw his hands at it, eked out a top-edge and then Sran at short third man swooped into my TV screen from nowhere - flew to his left and pouched the ball mid-air. Mustafizur to Brathwaite, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

18.1 - Mustafizur to Brathwaite, no run, was there an edge that I heard? No appeal, so my ears are ringing perhaps. The cutter jags across viciously from round the wicket, Brathwaite is opened up with the slide across, pokes his bat out looking to glide and misses..

17.6 - Bhuvneshwar to Brathwaite, 1 run, and now he teases Bhuvneshwar with a deft tuck to square leg. Hops himself closed, face mid-on while doing so and eased a single to make the equation: 16 off the last two overs

17.5 - Bhuvneshwar to Brathwaite, FOUR, oh my! That's brutal luck for Hyderabad. Brathwaite was on the hop and looked cramped on this swivelling tuck. No room but he still went for it, the ball shot back off the under-edge and Ojha's throw to his left couldn't stop that ball from drilling holes in the fine leg fence

Third man and fine leg go back... 21 runs in 14 balls needed

17.4 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, leg byes, 1 run, looks to swivel around and flash this ball away with a short arm pull. The bounce isn't there and Nair crouches as this low-bouncing ball pings the thigh pad

17.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, no run, and now he defies physicality with a bumper that zooms over Nair looking to swivel-pull

17.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Brathwaite, leg byes, 1 run, tucks him up for room with a shortish delivery down leg-side. Brathwaite hops himself around, drops it mid-pitch and runs. Bhuvi resorts to all the Dhoni-implemented footer skills, runs ahead and tries to kick the ball at the stumps.. and it nearly paid off. Had it hit, Nair would have been football'd out

17.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Brathwaite, wide, good that it's a wide outside off because this premeditated swing was going downtown. Had his back pad kissing the turf, his front knee bent and the bat looking to swash the ball away

17.1 - Bhuvneshwar to Brathwaite, FOUR, that's been slapped. Full and wide outside off, Brathwaite slams his bat and flogs it wide enough and in front of backward point

16.6 - Barinder to Nair, SIX, and another one. Every ground's a Tyrion Lannister if you power them so ruthlessly. Stands tall with his weight in front, swipes his bat and shames another short ball over deep mid-wicket. The ball was outside off, Nair reaches out with a shuffle - a baby shuffle rather - and swatted the ball well over the ropes there. 28 runs off the last 3 overs needed

16.5 - Barinder to Brathwaite, 1 run, waits for the fullish delivery and then sees it kick up off the turf. Gets the soft wrists into play, taps it to backward point and runs. A misdirected throw at the bowler's end and but for that, things could have been interesting

16.4 - Barinder to Nair, 1 run, crashes a single to long-on

16.3 - Barinder to Nair, SIX, how well does he play that? Sran has been humiliated with this. Stood on the front foot, took this short ball head-on and pulled it over deep square leg. Lovely shot

16.2 - Barinder to Nair, no run, goes full and wide, just inside the tramline and there's an appeal as Nair looks to fetch it

Carlos Brathwaite, right handed bat, comes to the crease

16.1 - Barinder to Duminy, out Caught by Warner!! Here's the wicket! Here's the catch, finally! Warner poches it after a long run-up from long-off and bangs it into the ground in frustration. 15.6 - Mustafizur to Duminy, 1 run, oh no. Bhuvi, you canker blossom! Warner's bug is on to him. It's everywhere. Bhuvi has now dropped one at deep cover! Duminy played it really well. Takes this off-pace banged on a short of length, made enough room to go inside out but Bhuvi drops it.. looked more in panic. And then struggles to even pick the ball from the ground, so nervous he looked

15.5 - Mustafizur to Nair, 1 run, is late to pull it away, gets pinged on the under-side of his glove as he looks to execute the shot and robs a single to square leg

15.4 - Mustafizur to Nair, FOUR, now that's a redemption. The key was to time the shuffle and he did that. Sees the length short outside off, gets into his shuffle and hoicks it wide of the short fine leg in place. 'Not pretty but effective' cliche in play

15.4 - Mustafizur to Nair, wide, too full and too wide outside off, given as a wide as the umpire asks someone for a hug..

15.3 - Mustafizur to Nair, no run, now that's something surreal. Had shuffled forward and across to play the Dhoni-like whip, had even followed through with his bat making a full pretty circle in the air the bounce ditched him. Off the top-edge of that whipping bat and the ball rolls to backward point

15.2 - Mustafizur to Duminy, 1 run, here's the pace. More to hold the batsman in his crease. Drops it on a short of length and Duminy jumps back to dab it to third man. Used the pace well there to riposte back in style

14.3 - Barinder to Nair, 1 run, I was alive when Warner dropped a catch. To put it simply. Sran had pinged the ball short as an invitation for Nair to create some of his own power and Nair couldn't quite. Thrusted the pull off the front foot, Warner comes running in to pouch the mistimed pull but overruns it.. and drops it as a result

14.2 - Barinder to Duminy, 1 run, keeps the length short outside off, makes Duminy wait for the pace and sees a single dabbed down to third man (the fielder trending right now)

4.4 - Barinder to Nair, FOUR, it's just a half-hearted short ball from Barinder, doesn't quite get the height he needs to ruffle some feathers, and Nair slaps the pull from outside off well in front of square

4.4 - Barinder to Nair, wide, dangles his bat at a ball well wide of off, can't quite reach out and collects the wide

4.3 - Barinder to Nair, no run, another crisp on-the-up drive but straight to cover this time

4.2 - Barinder to Nair, FOUR, that's such a good shot! It's not a half-volley at all, but Nair leans across, gets on top of the bounce and steers the drive through the point region

4.1 - Barinder to Rishabh Pant, 1 run, length ball down leg, Pant misses out with a glance and it rolls away off the thigh pad towards short fine leg

Barinder Sran [1.0-0-2-1] is back into the attack

Rishabh Pant 7(7) Nair 6(8) Mustafizur 1-0-8-0

3.6 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, 1 run, good comeback from Mustafizur, who would be mindful that Pant has one-up on him. I'm not talking about just the previous ball, but the reverse-fixture as well where the 18-year old had butchered The Fizz. Rising short ball around off, Pant reflexively arches his back as it gets big on him, loosens his grip and keeps it down behind backward point

3.5 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, FOUR, he's just stood there and slashed it through the point region with disdain. Believe me, his feet didn't move at all. He saw the length, saw the width and buried it with some ferocity

3.4 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, no run, length ball outside off, Pant is not shying away from driving on the up. Hits it to cover

3.4 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, wide, there is a little "click" as the ball crosses Pant. A flick of the trousers maybe? I'm not sure. The umpire certainly doesn't think so and calls it a wide

3.3 - Mustafizur to Nair, 1 run, clips this off his tummy to the right of mid-on

3.2 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, 1 run, short of length just outside off, Pant punches it firmly wide of cover

3.1 - Mustafizur to Rishabh Pant, no run, and first ball, he fizzes right through Pant. It has bounced over the top of off! Good length delivery angling in from over the wicket, for some reason Pant is playing inside the line or maybe the ball held its line slightly. Whatever it is, the bounce saves him

Mustafizur Rahman, comes into the attack

Here's The Fizz, one slip in place..

Nair 5(7) Rishabh Pant 1(2) Bhuvneshwar 2-0-12-0

2.6 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, no run, length ball bending in towards off, pushed softly into the off-side

2.5 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, FOUR, pulled away wide of mid-on. Didn't quite get it perfectly but it's enough to race away. Short ball in line with off, Nair is a bit late in transferring his weight back and hits it uppishly but it's wide of the fielder

2.4 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, no run, on a length wide of off, Nair doesn't really move his front foot across to cover the line and just throws his bat on the drive. Chops it straight to short cover

2.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, no run, and again. Three outswingers. Short of length just outside off, Nair stands tall and guides it to backward point

2.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, no run, another one swirled away from the right-hander, on a back of a length outside off, steered to backward point

2.1 - Bhuvneshwar to Nair, no run, good ball. The length isn't full enough to drive and it's curling away from Nair who gets only half-forward and defends it from off-stump

1.6 - Barinder to Nair, 1 run, back of a length delivery angling across off, Nair pats it wide of cover-point to open his account

Karun Nair, right handed bat, comes to the crease

1.5 - Barinder to de Kock, out Caught by N Ojha!! This is a huge wicket at the start as de Kock can take the game away in a jiffy. It's the extra bounce again which has been so apparent all evening. de Kock backs away and slashes at a short of length delivery trying to thrash it through the point region. Doesn't cover for the bounce and nicks behind. de Kock c N Ojha b Barinder 2(9)

Barinder to de Kock, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

1.4 - Barinder to de Kock, no run, back of a length delivery slipping on the leg-side, de Kock defensively turns it into the on-side

1.3 - Barinder to de Kock, no run, lovely shape away from the left-hander, de Kock is driving on the walk and is opened all ends up. Skirts past the outside edge

1.2 - Barinder to Rishabh Pant, 1 run, plenty of confusion between the batsmen, but no damage done. There is a misfield at backward point despite Pant cutting the ball straight to him, the ball rolls away behind the fielder and allows a single. de Kock is happy with it, but sees Pant striding down and responds by taking a couple of steps himself. But Pant stops abruptly and sends him back in time

1.1 - Barinder to Rishabh Pant, no run, short of length and headed towards the rib-cage, Pant nudges it into the on-side

Barinder Sran, comes into the attack

A slip in place for Sran..

0.6 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, no run, a flowing movement towards the full ball outside off before driving it to cover

0.5 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, no run, short of length delivery denying de Kock any width, tucked defensively into the on-side

0.4 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, 2 runs, on a back of a length outside off, de Kock stands tall and punches it straight down the ground. Couldn't get much power behind it and it's been chased down

0.3 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, no run, he's slapped this hard but finds point. Sees the width and slashes at it, got it right off the middle. Unlucky

0.2 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, no run, back of a length around middle and off, de Kock stays in the crease and blocks

0.1 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, no run, more like it. Fullish and pushed across the off-stump, de Kock's feet are a bit lazy as he pushes it on the move to mid-off

0.1 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, wide, and now in the opposite direction. So unlike Bhuvi to be struggling with the swing. Slants it well wide of off, de Kock does chase after it but it's a very half-hearted poke and he misses

0.1 - Bhuvneshwar to de Kock, 5 wides, this is such a morale shattering start from HYD's point of view. Bhuvi slips this well down leg and past a diving Ojha. Five wides

de Kock and Rishabh Pant are at the crease. de Kock is on strike. Bhuvneshwar will open the attack
