Hasan Ali doubtful for Windies Test series

In a major setback to Pakistan, pacer Hasan Ali has injured his groin while fielding in the first innings of the three-day practice match against the President XI, thus creating doubt over his presence in the upcoming three-match Test series against the West Indies.

As per the information released by the Pakistan Cricket Board late on Monday night, Hasan will undergo rehabilitation to get fit for the series opener scheduled for April 21-25 in Kingston, Jamaica.

In a statement, PCB said,

He will undergo progressive rehabilitation to regain strength in the groin. Currently, we are confident that he will recover in time to be able to play in the Test series against West Indies.

The 23-year-old, who is yet to make his Test debut, has so far played 16 ODIs and seven T20Is in which he has scalped 29 and 10 wickets respectively.
