19.0 - Tabraiz Shamsi to Henriques, FOUR, in the slot and Henriques clatters it with a pull through mid-wicket

16.2 - Watson to Williamson, FOUR, oh Kane Williamson! You little rippah! Magical wrists. Okay, I'll stop drooling over. Back of a length outside off, Williamson skips across and uses his wrists to whip that behind square. That's T-I-M-E-D

15.1 - Tabraiz Shamsi to Williamson, FOUR, and the carnage continues... Floated up around middle, Williamson knelt down and belted the sweep over mid-wicket

14.3 - Kane Richardson to Warner, FOUR, short and wide of off, Warner hops and pulls with utter disdain, in the same region

13.1 - P Rasool to Williamson, FOUR, that ball is begging to be hit. Short at 102ks, Williamson leans on his back foot and bludgeons the pull through mid-wicket

12.5 - Aaron to Williamson, FOUR, jeez! Kane-wristy-Williamson at his very best. I would love to see Steven Smith and this lad bat together. It would be a tussle of wrists, surely? Full and in his slot, whipped effortlessly over mid-wicket

12.1 - Aaron to Williamson, FOUR, edged and four! Williamson premeditates and stays leg-side, Aaron follows him and sprays a full ball angling into his toes. Williamson swings and the outside edge races past the keeper. Can't do much about it Aaron....Such is life

11.4 - Watson to Williamson, FOUR, awww! WOW! Just wow! Williamson has some rubber wrists. Pure class from the Kiwi. Shuffles slightly to this overpitched delivery and flicks, up and over mid-wicket, sped away!

11.2 - Watson to Warner, FOUR, that's a smash-me ball from Watto. Shortish on leg-stump at 118ks to Warner, seriously Watts? Warner clears his front leg and thrashes it through mid-wicket, beating a desperate dive from Kohli (who ran in from long-on)

9.1 - P Rasool to Warner, FOUR, we should not blame Rasool. First time he gave a bit of room to Warner, he flumped it through covers to bring up his fifty

8.3 - Aaron to Warner, FOUR, that is cute from the Aussie. Warner used the pace behind this back of a length delivery and then steered it into the third man fence

8.1 - Aaron to Williamson, FOUR, this is a sonnet from Williamson. Stayed leg-side, in fact made a bit of room as well. Lofted this fullish delivery over the fielder at mid-off

6.4 - Tabraiz Shamsi to Warner, FOUR, not that short but enough width to effect the cut shot. Almost fetches it from the gloves of the keeper, beats short third man and the ball raced away

5.3 - Harshal Patel to Warner, FOUR, back of a length delivery and Warner makes a bit of width. Carves it over backward point, fetches an easy four

5.1 - Harshal Patel to Warner, no ball, FOUR, this hairstyle has not worked for him for sure. Oversteps and Warner throws his bat on this length delivery, gets it off the outer edge to third man, who fails to stop it after moving to his right. Free-hit coming up

3.1 - Kane Richardson to Warner, FOUR, short ball and Warner will hit them all day long. Shapes for the pull and gets it well in front of square through mid-wicket, the ball raced away to the fence

2.4 - P Rasool to Dhawan, FOUR, this one just dropped inside the long-on fence. Danced down the track and wristed the loft over mid-on

1.5 - Watson to Dhawan, FOUR, first four off Dhawan's bat. Length ball on the stumps, Dhawan did not try to hit it hard, just presented the full face of the bat and beat the fielder at mid-off

0.2 - Kane Richardson to Warner, FOUR, that is a gift. Short and down the leg-side, Warner did not have to do much. Just helped it on its way and the fielder at fine leg had no chance to cut it off

18.5 - Tabraiz Shamsi to Henriques, SIX, Moises Henriques! What is this man up to? Just throwing every ounce of power he has... Waltzes down the pitch like a greyhound and smites it straight down the ground

17.5 - Kane Richardson to Henriques, SIX, that must have landed near Charminar! What power, what striking. Yet again, a length ball pleading to be dispatched. Henriques clears his front leg and parcels it for a 96-metre six into the cow corner stands

17.3 - Kane Richardson to Henriques, SIX, Henriques isn't holding back. Sees the length (which is short) and dismisses it out of his sight - With a thunderous pull over mid-wicket

15.4 - Tabraiz Shamsi to Warner, SIX, that's more like it! No flirting around with the stance this time. Stays solid and wallops this flighted delivery into the long-on stands

14.4 - Kane Richardson to Warner, SIX, Warner is in some mood today! Backs away and ramps this short delivery over short third man. Go fetch that!

14.2 - Kane Richardson to Warner, SIX, did KW and Warner swap their wrists in the interval? Full and outside off, fetched it from there and whipped with power and panache over mid-wicket. That made it more delightful to watch

14.0 - P Rasool to Warner, SIX, that's a gift and Warner accepts it gleefully. Shortish and sat up on middle and leg, Warner backs away and deposits for a 82-metre maximum over long-on

5.1 - Harshal Patel to Warner, SIX, what has he done? Bowls full on a free-hit. Warner did what he will do with it even in his backyard. Smoked it over the long-on fence

19.1 - Watson to Deepak Hooda, out Deepak Hooda Run Out!! 1 run completed. Full and wide, Hooda opens the bat face and squeezes it towards backward point. Sets off for a single and then decides to sprint for an ill-advised second. Richardson fumbles but manages to send in a decent throw. Rahul bends low and whips the bails...all this while Hooda was diving and doing his best to get back but that willow was IN THE AIR.... Deepak Hooda run out (Kane Richardson/Rahul) 2(2)

17.2 - Kane Richardson to N Ojha, out Caught by de Villiers!! Another one for Richardson and another dolly for AB. The off-cutter angling in on middle and leg, Ojha makes room and heaves... Kissed the toe-end and went straight down the throat of long-on. N Ojha c de Villiers b Kane Richardson 1(3)

16.5 - Watson to Williamson, out Caught by Rahul!! Watto gets his man! Hurls a short delivery outside off, Williamson backs away and rises on his tippy toes to flay that over the infield (obviously over the off-side). Couldn't quite get hold of that. Gets a faint top-edge that lands in the safe mitts of KL Rahul. Williamson c Rahul b Watson 50(38) [4s-7]

15.5 - Tabraiz Shamsi to Warner, out Caught by de Villiers!! End of a fantastic knock from the HYD skipper. He knew straightaway that he didn't hit that well. My colleague Pratyush blames me... chirps "You jinxed him." Did I? Back to cricket, it was fired full and followed Warner who was backing away. Wanted to loft but skewed it off the toe-end, straight to AB at long-off. Warner c de Villiers b Tabraiz Shamsi 92(50) [4s-9 6s-5]

3.4 - Kane Richardson to Dhawan, out Caught&Bowled!! The previous ball stopped on him and then also Dhawan did not learn his lesson. Once again he was early on the shot. This time went through with it and did not try to quell it down, as a result a simple catch back to the bowler. Changing the ends of Richardson has worked for BLR. Dhawan c and b Kane Richardson 11(11) [4s-2]

16.3 - Watson to Williamson, 1 run, fullish and straight, Williamson reaches his fifty with a clip along the ground through mid-wicket

19.5 - Bhuvneshwar to P Rasool, FOUR, stands tall to heave a short of length delivery through mid-wicket. Doesn't matter

16.4 - Mustafizur to Sachin Baby, FOUR, rare goof-up from Mustafizur. His attempted yorker has been terribly overdone and it's a waist high full toss outside off which is flayed over backward point. Even third man is in the ring. There's a contention that it might be a no-ball. It's just above waist height when Baby connects, but the ball was dipping and Baby was on the charge. Would have been below the waist had he been standing his ground

15.1 - Bhuvneshwar to Sachin Baby, FOUR, he's pulled the Dilscoop out. Ingenius from Baby. It's not about genius actually as much as it's about making sure that those teeth are not in harm's way. Scoops it superbly over the keeper and Bhuvi's length helped his cause

14.1 - Barinder to de Villiers, FOUR, right. Boundary off the first ball and now we'll see how Barinder responds to extreme pressure. Either he'll be pulverized into ash, or come shining out like a diamond. How I get weird when AB is batting. Length ball down leg, whipped past short fine leg

14.0 - Henriques to Sachin Baby, FOUR, 19 off the over, and the tables might have turned again. Shortish slower ball outside off and zooms away past short third man off the outside edge. Baby won't mind. Why the heck would he?

10.2 - Barinder to de Villiers, FOUR, that's a slap in the face. As much for Hooda, as for Sran. Short ball outside off, and it's been dispatched. Rocketed past backward point

8.4 - Barinder to Rahul, FOUR, and it continues. This dream innings. There's enough width and Rahul is seeing 'em alright. Flashes hard and it goes screaming past backward point

7.4 - Henriques to de Villiers, FOUR, "you get busy living, or you get busy dying." I don't even know why I put that up here. Doesn't make sense. But then, nor does THIS from AB. Tries to whack a full ball down the ground, and collects a boundary in the opposite direction. Skews it off a thick outside edge over short third man. Weird, that quote. Completely out of context

7.2 - Henriques to Rahul, FOUR, this is some awesome stuff from Rahul. I, for one, am pleasantly surprised with how he's paced it. Sees the full ball outside off, and divinely lifts it over cover

3.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Rahul, FOUR, there he goes. Jee, it's quite a shock for me to watch Rahul bat this way. Everything is usually serene with him. Runs down the pitch, throws his arms at a length ball outside off and carves it over the covers. One bounce and over the ropes. The calm quiet waters are waving

2.4 - Nehra to Kohli, FOUR, steps to leg while hurling down the track and clatters a length ball through the off-side. Take that! Virat and his cover-drives. I can watch him bat to a bowling machine

2.0 - Bhuvneshwar to Rahul, FOUR, oh my! The message is loud and clear from Rahul. He's not here to make up the numbers. Only slightly short outside off, and Rahul laces a pristine square cut past backward point

1.2 - Bhuvneshwar to Rahul, FOUR, creamed over the covers. That's one of the more picturesque strokes in our game. Fullish outside off, and Rahul paints a lofted drive over the infield

0.3 - Nehra to Rahul, FOUR, that's a blatant half-volley and Rahul is having none of it. Floats it up there on off to find swing, and is punched back straight past mid-off - who strangely doesn't bother diving

18.5 - Mustafizur to K Jadhav, SIX, they need a bunch of these from here. Mustafizur offers a full toss and is hurled into the deep mid-wicket stands by a pumping Jadhav

17.2 - Nehra to K Jadhav, SIX, crucial blow! Keeps us interested and makes sure that the match is still breathing, albeit on a ventilator. Bends low to a full ball and flogs it over square leg. Deep square leg is interested as there isn't much power behind the stroke, then realizes it's going over and jumps back only to tip it over the ropes

13.2 - Henriques to de Villiers, SIX, yes, he's getting there. BEAST MODE is about to be activated. Short ball. Not short enough. Not high enough. And it's been pulled well in front of square #Bossman

13.1 - Henriques to de Villiers, SIX, surely. Surely there are better ways. To commit suicide. Why bother bowling a length ball. Never mind, AB whacks it over cow corner

12.4 - Mustafizur to Sachin Baby, SIX, he's launched that over wide long-on due to sheer defiance. Mustafizur had completely got him there with a slower length ball, duped him into an early slog but Baby didn't hold back. Threw all he had and then some more. Clears a sheepish Warner, just

8.1 - Barinder to Rahul, SIX, this is too much to take from Rahul. Superb batting. He's timed each and every one of his shots, give and take a few. Short ball and he's already in the swivel as if he's got a premonition. Belts a pull over the square leg ropes

20.0 - Bhuvneshwar to P Rasool, out Caught by Henriques!! A perfect end to the innings with a well judged catch taken in the deep. Rasool skies a slower ball, lobs it off a thick edge and is caught at deep mid-wicket by Henriques who is perfectly aware of the ropes. P Rasool c Henriques b Bhuvneshwar 10(9) [4s-1]

17.1 - Nehra to Sachin Baby, out Caught by Dhawan!! Doesn't help much if you lob full tosses straight to fielder. I'm afraid it's all going haywire pretty quickly for BLR. High full toss, around the knees, and Baby can't generate enough power on the loft. Sachin Baby c Dhawan b Nehra 27(16) [4s-3 6s-1]

14.4 - Barinder to de Villiers, out Caught by Williamson!! Catch that, catch that .. and Williamson has done it without breaking a sweat. Oh he made it look so easy. Length ball smeared with risk around off. More often than not, AB would kill it. This time he slices it in the air in front of long-on. Williamson makes good ground, plunges forward and nestles it safely. What have BLR got left? de Villiers c Williamson b Barinder 47(32) [4s-3 6s-2]

11.2 - Henriques to Watson, out Watson Run Out!! 1 run completed! What has Watson done here? He's taken the second run too easy, and now he's in danger owing to a direct hit from the deep. Forget danger, he looks a gonner. Give me a break. Terrible running. It's very close actually with his bat seemingly on the line when the stumps light up. Nothing seems to be over the line, and the third umpire concurs with me. Firstly, he clipped it neatly off the pads behind square. It all seemed so innocuous with Barinder having so much ground to cover from deep square leg. That lulled Watson into a false sense of security and he paid the maximum price for it. Watson run out (Barinder) 2(3)

10.0 - Henriques to Rahul, out Caught by N Ojha!! It's over. Ironically comes to an end with the shot which he executed like a dream. Skiddy short of length delivery around off, Rahul wants to run it down to third man but finds a faint outside edge instead. Removes his skull cap and puts it back in the helmet with a lot of self-loathing. Well played though! Rahul c N Ojha b Henriques 51(28) [4s-6 6s-1]

5.2 - Mustafizur to Kohli, out Caught by Ashish Reddy!! It takes Mustafizur two balls to make an impact, and it's the big one. Kohli .. I just don't know what spurned him .. but he waltzes down the track looking to carve it over the off-side. But The Fizz is one canny customer. Must have rolled his fingers across to extract that extra-bounce, forces Virat to slice it in the air and straight to point for a sharp catch. Reddy had better held on to it, and he did. Kohli c Ashish Reddy b Mustafizur 14(17) [4s-1]

9.3 - Henriques to Rahul, 2 runs, doff your hats to this young man as he takes a bow on a fine half-century. Waits on a slower ball and clips it through square leg before rushing back for two
