18.2 - U Yadav to Brathwaite, FOUR, full toss again but dipping outside off, Brathwaite wanted to thrash it through point. Reaches out but drags it off the inside edge wide of the keeper. Through fine leg

17.0 - U Yadav to Brathwaite, FOUR, that's how I slice my morning scoop of butter. Lovely. Gets it full but not much width, opens the bat and uses his wrists to power it down to the third man fence. Wide enough of the keeper to make it a tease

16.5 - U Yadav to Brathwaite, FOUR, sliding on leg-stump and an easy tickle gets a boundary through fine leg

14.4 - Narine to Nair, FOUR, skids on straight and you know what, Nair meets it with a reverse sweep through backward point. Wide of the fielder and that's enough

14.2 - Narine to Nair, FOUR, skids on straight this time, Nair shuffles across to get inside the line and pipes the sweep finer this time. Behind square and it runs away

14.1 - Narine to Nair, FOUR, that's a brutal sweep. Wow. Sees the length, gets into a position and powers it round the corner. That's his fifty too!

13.1 - Holder to Nair, FOUR, ah, lovely! Holder bangs this in halfway but the ball sort of loops up. Nair stands up in attention and shoves it to third man with a ramp

11.4 - Chawla to S Billings, FOUR, that lovely adjustment. Stayed low around off, Billings was back but crouched low, spindled around the back heel and tucked it through mid-wicket

11.2 - Chawla to S Billings, FOUR, 50-run stand. Bowls it slow, with loop, and it's wide too. Billings takes the invitation, reaches out with a thumping drive and pipes it through extra cover

10.0 - Chawla to Nair, FOUR, another googly from Chawla, but Nair picked that one. He sinks on one knee and sweeps it to the deep mid-wicket fence all along the ground. He nailed that shot

7.5 - U Yadav to S Billings, FOUR, now, Billings has shown on numerous occasions for Kent that he can crack the pull. Not the delivery that you would want to bowl to him. Banged in bumper from Yadav, Billings gets on top of the bounce and pulls it to the mid-wicket fence. It came right off the screws

7.1 - U Yadav to S Billings, leg byes, FOUR, good length delivery, but sliding down leg, Billings skips out of the crease in order to whip it around the corner, but misses. It vrooms away to the fine leg fence for four leg-byes

6.1 - Narine to Nair, FOUR, cheeky reverse sweep from Nair. Well, Nair, with that shot, showcases that he can play innovative strokes, too. Nair brings out the reverse sweep to a length ball and it zooms away to the third man boundary

5.4 - A Russell to Nair, FOUR, a tad fuller, but Russell slips it down leg, Nair, with a crisp downward angling of the willow, flicks it to the deep mid-wicket fence. Nair, in the Ranji Trophy has shown that he is very strong off his pads

4.0 - Holder to Nair, FOUR, hmm, Holder aims for the fuller length delivery, but it turns out to be a full toss on leg-stump, Nair just neatly tucks it to the fine leg fence. Gift on offer and accepted gleefully by the batsman

3.0 - A Russell to Nair, FOUR, Russell again bowls a half-volley on leg-stump, Nair twirls his wrists on it and flicks it to the deep backward square leg fence, where this time, Umesh can't save the boundary

1.3 - Holder to Samson, FOUR, width on offer, Samson rocks back and cuts it to the deep backward point fence. Nice blow by Samson there

1.2 - Holder to Samson, FOUR, Holder again gets good bounce on a back of a length delivery, Samson gets into a tangle as he is opened up. He gets an outside edge that falls in front of Yusuf at first slip, who makes a late attempt to stop the ball and it races away to the third man fence

19.1 - A Russell to Brathwaite, SIX, that's been Stokes'd out of the park. All power. Slower one on a fullish length, Brathwaite backs away and uses his long hands to punish it over deep mid-wicket

18.1 - U Yadav to Brathwaite, SIX, that's from Yadav's binary refrigerator. It's a zero this time. High full toss that's swung over long-on

18.0 - B Hogg to S Billings, SIX, no more an T20 League virgin and now he has a fifty too. On his debut. Hogg slid this googly across, dishes out width and Billings gobbles it up with a lofted drive over deep extra cover.

17.4 - B Hogg to Brathwaite, SIX, nothing matters when Brathwaite swings it. Flatter wrong 'un on leg-stump, the turn away gives Brathwaite the room to slog-sweep it over deep mid-wicket

16.1 - U Yadav to Nair, SIX, that's an audacious way to bring up the 100-run stand. Wobbly seam that pitches full, Nair is on his knees and lofts this handsomely over long-off. Crisp this

15.3 - Holder to S Billings, SIX, length ball and it's simple. Get your front leg across, get closer to the pitch of the ball and murder it with a slog-sweep over deep square leg. Easy

20.0 - A Russell to Rishabh Pant, out Rishabh Pant Run Out!! 1 run completed. No worries. Run outs and last balls make for awesome twosomes. Delhi finish well on 186, and so does Russell. Fires this yorker on off-stump, Pant squeezes it out to long-on and runs. Suryakumar Yadav was quick in the deep, spears in the throw and dumps Pant's idea of a brace. Uthappa's under-arm throw onto the stumps ends this innings then. Rishabh Pant run out (Suryakumar Yadav/Uthappa) 4(4)

19.2 - A Russell to Brathwaite, out Caught by Narine!! Oh, that's a mishit but that six was pretty enough. Stretches across with his bat knived forward, takes it on the full for a scoop but couldn't usher in the power. Looped to Narine at short fine leg. Brathwaite c Narine b A Russell 34(11) [4s-3 6s-3]

18.4 - U Yadav to S Billings, out Bowled!! Here comes the fifty and there goes Billings. Too ambitious trying to scoop it. Went a long way across his stumps, Yadav had this slow ball to dip and hit the bull's eye, as Billings missed. S Billings b U Yadav 54(34) [4s-3 6s-2]

16.4 - U Yadav to C Morris, out Bowled!! How fortunes change. Went berserk the last game and gets a duck today..on his birthday. Well, happy birthday Morris. Charges down the track, Yadav pounds it shortish and Morris looked to cut. Not much bounce to middle the shot, gets the under-edge that shatters the stumps. C Morris b U Yadav 0(2)

16.2 - U Yadav to Nair, out Lbw!! There's the riposte. Hit for a six last ball, Yadav rolls his finger on this length ball, gets it to hold and scissor back in to hit the back leg. Struck in front of leg-stump as Nair looked to adjust with a flick. Might have clipped leg. Nair lbw b U Yadav 68(50) [4s-9 6s-1]

5.0 - Narine to Samson, out Lbw!! Samson's tendency to get caught in the crease results in his dismissal. It was nothing but a delivery that skidded off the surface. Maybe Narine extracted a wee bit of bounce, too. Samson attempted to play across the line with his tuck and missed. He was caught in front of middle-stump, I believe. Narine belted out an appeal for LBW, and the umpire answered it in the affirmative. Samson was not happy with the decision though. Samson lbw b Narine 15(15) [4s-2]

0.5 - A Russell to de Kock, out Caught by B Hogg!! Russell is on fire. He celebrates de Kock's scalp with Hogg. Russell bangs it short and gets good wheels on it. He also forces de Kock to fetch the pull from off-stump. de Kock ekes out a top-edge and Hogg at deep square leg pouches an easy catch. de Kock c B Hogg b A Russell 1(3)

0.3 - A Russell to Shreyas Iyer, out Lbw!! Oh! Boy! Iyer's tendency to play across the line has again cost him his wicket. He has had a wretched T20 League so far. Remember, he came into the T20 League riding on some tall scores in the Ranji Trophy. A tad fuller and seams back a touch, Iyer tries to flick it around the corner and misses. He is rapped on the pads and the ball would have crashed into middle and leg-stump I reckon. Easy decision for the umpire to make. Shreyas Iyer lbw b A Russell 0(1)

16.5 - Mishra to A Russell, FOUR, this time he is connected with the googly. The length was fuller and Russell took that out of the equation by plonking his foot way down, hammers the sweep between deep square leg and deep mid-wicket

16.2 - Mishra to Uthappa, FOUR, that's streaky. But Uthappa and KOL will take that. Quicker, fuller and outside off, Uthappa shapes to play the reverse sweep, he is almost beaten by the pace, but gets a bit of wood just before QdK could collect, runs away to the boundary

15.0 - Mishra to Uthappa, FOUR, was that a chance? Would have been with a better fielder. However, it was Zak and it is four for Uthappa. Pushed it through and almost in the blockhole, Uthappa crouches low and slices it to the right of cover-point, Zaheer dived but didn't even get a finger. Sorry, it was very far and even Jonty wouldn't have got that

14.0 - Brathwaite to A Russell, FOUR, delicate. Not seen that side to Russell's batting. Length delivery angled in from wide of the crease, Russell waits for the ball to arrive and opens the bat face at the last second, gets it very fine and wide of a diving QdK

13.2 - Brathwaite to Sathish, FOUR, tonked over the umpire. Length delivery and Sathish gleefully accepted it. He prods forward and hammers it in the air past the outstretched hand of Brathwaite

10.0 - Brathwaite to Suryakumar Yadav, no ball, byes, FOUR, Oh Dear! This is turning out to be horrendous for Brathwaite, he was looking for the yorker, the ball slipped out of his hands, ends up a high beamer, Suryakumar swings and misses, de Kock can't stop it either, five extra runs added to the total

9.3 - Brathwaite to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR, that's much needed for KOL, Suryakumar made room outside leg, Brathwaite helped him further by bowling a short ball, laced over point for a boundary, his first of the innings

7.3 - Brathwaite to Uthappa, FOUR, cracking shot, way too short from Brathwaite, can't bowl those at his pace, Uthappa rocks back and pulls it over mid-wicket, a couple of bounces and over the ropes

6.3 - C Morris to Uthappa, FOUR, lovely shot, length delivery angling back into the right-hander, Uthappa leans forward, presents a straight bat and plays the on-drive to perfection, beats Zaheer at mid-on and rolls away to the fence

5.5 - Shami to Y Pathan, FOUR, that's much needed for KOL, tad fuller and just outside off, Pathan gets forward, drives it on the up and clears mid-off, one bounce and over the ropes

4.3 - Zaheer to Chawla, FOUR, that's sloppy from Mishra, was too lazy to bend down in time. It didn't help his cause that the ball bounced awkwardly in front of him. Chawla was looking to go over the infeld, ended up dragging it in the air and towards mid-on

3.5 - Shami to Chawla, FOUR, that's the reason Chawla has been promoted, length delivery outside off, Chawla gets forward, drives it on the up and beats mid-off, to his left, off the mark with a boundary

2.4 - Zaheer to Uthappa, FOUR, nicely played by Uthappa, wasn't off the middle of the bat, but he found the gap past cover. On a good length and well outside off, he was leaning forward on the drive, played it on the up and beat the fielder wide of cover

2.0 - Shami to Uthappa, FOUR, wrong line from Shami, drifts one onto Uthappa's pads, he gets inside the line and clips it behind square on the on-side, beats the man getting across from fine leg, first boundary for Uthappa

16.1 - Mishra to Uthappa, SIX, what a way to start after the break. Dravid and Upton grimace. Flighted on off, Uthappa kneels down and pings the slog sweep over deep mid-wicket. Much needed hit for Kolkata

15.4 - Shami to A Russell, SIX, that's outta here. Finally, he has connected. Shami dragged the length back, Russell stands tall and heaves it over cow corner. Got plenty of height and the desired distance

14.1 - Mishra to Uthappa, SIX, majestic way to bring up the fifty. Second of the season and Kolkata need him to continue. His 100th six in T20 League cricket. Dances down the wicket, gets to the pitch and lofts it over beautifully over long-off for a maximum

10.0 - Brathwaite to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX, 22 runs from the over, the last legitimate ball alone cost DEL 14 runs. This was a length delivery on the stumps, Suryakumar gets forward and thumps it high and over long-on for a maximum. Will this last ball hurt the Delhi?

18.3 - Zaheer to U Yadav, out Caught by C Morris!! All over. Delhi have comeback to win the game by 27 runs. After being annihilated in the reverse fixture, this is a strong showing by the Zaheer Khan-led side. Billings and Samson hug each other. Coming to the ball, shortish and on the stumps, Yadav pulls and picks out Morris to perfection at deep square leg. U Yadav c C Morris b Zaheer 2(3)

18.2 - Zaheer to U Yadav, out Narine Run Out!! 1 run completed. What a night Iyer is having in the field. Zaheer appreciates it as well. Erasmus doesn't even bother to go upstairs and Delhi are one wicket away. Slower delivery, Yadav gave it his all, but he got it off toe-end towards long-off. The pair was always coming back for the second. Iyer swooped in on the ball and hit timber at the bowler's end. Superb fielding effort. Narine run out (Shreyas Iyer) 4(3)

17.4 - C Morris to Uthappa, out Caught by Nair!! GAME. ExpressT. MATCH. The set batsman has been sent back and Delhi have one foot on the door. It was a full wide delivery from Morris, Uthappa backs away to the leg-side to give himself room, reaches out and middles the slice straight to his statemate Nair at backward point, who reverse cups it in front of his face. An innings that kept KOL in the game comes to an end. Birthday boy, Morris has a wicket to his name. Uthappa c Nair b C Morris 72(52) [4s-6 6s-2]

17.2 - C Morris to Holder, out Holder Run Out!! Where was Holder going? To the dugout? If that was the case, then Morris obliges. Very full and almost in the blockhole, Holder doesn't get bat on the squeeze, is struck on the pad. No appeal for LBW as it was going down leg. However, Holder had no idea where the ball was. Just strolls out of the crease, Morris runs forward, picks up the ball and underarms it onto the stumps. Holder was nowhere close to the crease. Holder run out (C Morris) 0(1)

17.0 - Mishra to A Russell, out Caught&Bowled!! Geez! How did he take that? Has to be the catch of the tournament. At least going by age and Mishra's fielding standards. Is brave enough to give the ball a bit of air, Russell takes couple of steps down and smashes the ball, scratch that, murders the ball back to the bowler. Mishra was trying to get out of the way, he got his hands up to protect his face and the ball just stuck. He couldn't believe it as he threw the ball trying to run Russell out. A Russell c and b Mishra 17(12) [4s-2 6s-1]

13.3 - Brathwaite to Sathish, out Caught by C Morris!! Brathwaite can't do anything wrong today. Apart from conceding 14 runs off one ball. 30-odd runs with the bat and now three wickets. Kolkata are floundering here. Short ball sat up nicely for Sathish, who seemed to have nailed the pull shot, Morris ran to his left from deep square and made it look utterly easy. It was a tough catch and the South African took it with ease. Sathish c C Morris b Brathwaite 6(7) [4s-1]

11.2 - Brathwaite to Suryakumar Yadav, out Caught by Shreyas Iyer!! Wow! That's a stunning catch. He might have failed with the bat, but Iyer is making up for it in the field. He sends back his Mumbai teammate with a terrific catch. Length delivery on off, Suryakumar wanted to lift it over mid-on, got it off the base of the bat and spooned it towards Iyer, who ran forward, dived and took it inches from the ground. Flings the ball in the air with joy, he loved it. Suryakumar Yadav c Shreyas Iyer b Brathwaite 21(13) [4s-1 6s-1]

7.5 - Brathwaite to Y Pathan, out Caught by Mishra!! That's a soft dismissal for Pathan! A wicket against the run of play for KOL. This was the slower bouncer from Brathwaite, Pathan was looking to help it around the corner, the ball came slower than he expected, ends up looping off a top-edge, straight into Mishra's palms at short fine leg. Kolkata have lost a third wicket and are in some trouble. Y Pathan c Mishra b Brathwaite 10(9) [4s-1]

4.4 - Zaheer to Chawla, out Lbw!! Chawla's promotion hasn't worked wonders for KOL! This is as plumb as it gets, Zaheer shortened his length by a yard and got the ball to jag back into the left-hander, Chawla was hopping across on the flick, ended up playing in front of the pads. Once he missed, he was a dead duck. Caught right in front of the stumps, the impact was around middle and it would have crashed into the stumps, simple call for umpire Erasmus. Chawla lbw b Zaheer 8(5) [4s-2]

3.0 - Zaheer to Gambhir, out Caught by Shreyas Iyer!! Gambhir's luck doesn't last longer! Nicely bowled by Zaheer, on a good length and a hint of shape back into Gambhir, he was hopping across on the clip, closed the face of the bat a tad too early, the leading edge is found and it's gobbled up by Iyer - moving a few steps to his right at cover. KOL lose their captain early, that's a big wicket for the Delhi. Gambhir c Shreyas Iyer b Zaheer 6(8)
