14.0 - Chawla to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, Morgan is unfurling a volley of eye-catching shots now. He brings out his favourite shot, the reverse sweep and it scurries to the third man boundary

13.1 - Chawla to N Ojha, FOUR, drifting down leg, Ojha cracks the paddle sweep after sinking on one knee and the ball races away to the fine leg fence

12.5 - Narine to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, almost a replica of the previous shot. Slower through the air from Narine, Morgan picks the length in a flash and then cracks the lofted drive to the deep extra cover fence. It crashed into the boundary boards, on that occasion

12.4 - Narine to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, Morgan has perhaps heard me saying that he is looking rusty. Here he plays a sparkling shot. He uses the lofted drive and collects a boundary to deep extra cover

11.4 - A Russell to N Ojha, FOUR, mediocred with width, Ojha opens the bat face and eases it down to the deep backward point fence. Nice timing and placement on that occasion

5.1 - U Yadav to Henriques, FOUR, length and ample width on offer, Henriques threw the kitchen sink and got a big outside edge which scorched through the third man region

3.1 - U Yadav to Warner, FOUR, deft! That's David Warner for you! Realizes the ball ain't coming nicely, waits on the back foot, opens the bat face and late-cuts the back of a length delivery past backward point

2.1 - M Morkel to Dhawan, FOUR, elegant stuff from Shikhar Dhawan! "Just an extension of forward defence" lauds Scotty Styris on air. Couldn't have put that any better. Pitched up and inviting the drive, Dhawan obliges and times the pants off a straight drive, past the non-striker and raced away!

0.5 - M Morkel to Warner, FOUR, that's in his zone and Warner ain't missing out on that. Fullish and wide, Warner crashes it through covers off the front foot

19.0 - U Yadav to Ashish Reddy, SIX, good strike by Reddy. Yadav yanks his length back, Reddy clubs it over deep mid-wicket that goes all the way

18.0 - M Morkel to Eoin Morgan, SIX, Morgan butchers this short of length delivery over deep mid-wicket for a maximum. It came right off the screws. With it, he also cracks a valuable fifty

17.0 - Shakib to Eoin Morgan, SIX, Morgan is suddenly in prime form now. Here he shows his ability to land the big shots by lofting a flatter delivery over long-off and it clears the boundary rope with ease. He also sunk on one knee there to execute the shot

15.5 - M Morkel to N Ojha, SIX, the two have now stitched a stand of 50 runs. It has come at the right time for HYD. They have gained a bit of momentum now. Short in length and angling in, Ojha backs away and upper cuts it over the third man boundary for a maximum

14.4 - Narine to N Ojha, SIX, nice sweep shot by Ojha. He sits on one knee and sweeps it over the deep backward square leg boundary. It was a meaty blow by Ojha. He also kept his eyes on the ball to execute the shot to perfection

19.5 - A Russell to Ashish Reddy, out Ashish Reddy Run Out!! 1 run completed. Reddy's brief cameo comes to an end. Slower short one, Reddy gets it past Russell with his heave. But Shakib from long-on swoops down on the ball quickly and fires in a throw at the batsman's end. Despite Reddy putting in a desperate dive, he finds himself short of the crease as Uthappa whipped the bails off in no time. Ashish Reddy run out (Shakib/Uthappa) 13(8) [6s-1]

18.4 - U Yadav to Eoin Morgan, out Caught by Shakib!! Another incision has been made. Back of a length delivery on middle and leg, Morgan manufactures room and clubs it towards deep mid-wicket, where Shakib runs from long-on to his left and takes a good running catch with both hands. Morgan was trying to clear the bigger part of the ground and that is never easy. Good knock by Morgan though. Eoin Morgan c Shakib b U Yadav 51(43) [4s-3 6s-2]

17.3 - M Morkel to N Ojha, out Caught by Chawla!! Russell has taken a blinder at long-on. He runs around the boundary rope, backtracks a bit. Eventually, leaps in the air and then with his left-hand pouches it. However, by then it was crystal clear that he would lose his balance and run over the boundary rope. As a result, he showed the presence of mind to flick it back into play, where Chawla was waiting for it. He takes it. The TV umpire was used and Russell was fine there. Morkel also was fine with his front foot. It was a mis-hit from Ojha to a short of a length ball and he paid the price for it. N Ojha c Chawla b M Morkel 37(28) [4s-2 6s-2]

9.4 - A Russell to Deepak Hooda, out Caught by U Yadav!! Andre Russell strikes! Deepak Hooda looked rusty and has holed out to long-on. The off-cutter on the stumps, Deepak Hooda backs away and tries to whip it with a nice flick of the wrists. Didn't get the timing right and Umesh Yadav had one of the easiest grabs to take. Deepak Hooda c U Yadav b A Russell 6(11)

6.0 - U Yadav to Henriques, out Lbw!! HYD in quicksand now! Henriques, the latest to depart. This good length delivery nipped in late and pinged Henriques on the pads. Henriques wanted to flick but ended up playing all over it. Missed the line and the umpire obliges the rip-roaring appeal of Umesh Yadav. Would have gone onto hit middle and leg. Henriques lbw b U Yadav 6(9) [4s-1]

3.2 - U Yadav to Warner, out Caught by Suryakumar Yadav!! And Warner gone too! Openers back in the hutch now. The off-cutter around middle and leg, Warner makes room and tries to chip it over short extra cover. Was deceived by the slowness of the delivery and tamely spoons it to Suryakumar Yadav. He dives forward full-length and takes a good low catch at short cover. Warner c Suryakumar Yadav b U Yadav 13(12) [4s-2]

2.4 - M Morkel to Dhawan, out Caught by Uthappa!! This time no fuss with the front foot no ball! This was coming, ain't it? A relatively similar delivery to the previous one, Dhawan runs down the pitch and tries to flay that over backward point with an uppish cut. Only manages a top-edge which flies to the left of Robbie who leaps and snaffles it with one hand. Dhawan c Uthappa b M Morkel 6(7) [4s-1]

18.5 - U Yadav to Ashish Reddy, no run, if Yadav had effected a direct-hit, then Karn at the non-striker's end would have been a goner. The toe-crusher from Yadav, Reddy squeezes it out to the right of the bowler, where Yadav picks it up and ushers in a throw at the bowler's end, but misses. The batsman was a long way out of the crease

18.2 - Karn Sharma to Gambhir, FOUR. All over! With this win KOL have won 4 out of 5 against HYD on this ground. It was floated up invitingly and Gambhir dances down the pitch to bludgeon that over mid-wicket. Brings up the winning runs in style and embraces Manish Pandey. On the other hand, HYD have a lot of thinking to do...

17.2 - Mustafizur to Gambhir, FOUR, one bounce and over the ropes! Full and right in his swinging zone, Gambhir deposits over mid-wicket with a full swing of the arms. Muscled!

15.3 - Barinder to Gambhir, FOUR, Gambhir is making Barinder Sran look silly here. What a classy batsman! Hangs back for this back of a length delivery and executes the late-cut to perfection, past backward and way she goes...

15.2 - Barinder to Gambhir, FOUR, he's played that shot so well all day. When it is short, Gambhir had no second thought in his mind. Jumps back and murders the pull over mid-wicket

14.3 - Ashish Reddy to Gambhir, FOUR, overcompensates this time, slips a length ball down leg and pays the price. Gambhir half-turns and pulls along the ground behind square leg

14.2 - Ashish Reddy to Gambhir, FOUR, too much of width on offer and Gambhir goes up and over cover. Flays it over extra cover with an uppish loft

10.4 - Karn Sharma to Gambhir, FOUR, this time through mid-wicket. Just a flick of the wrists on this whip, since the ball is full and in Gambhir's zone, it scorched off the turf beating Henriques' desperate dive in the deep

10.3 - Karn Sharma to Gambhir, FOUR, "That is Gautam Gambhir's signature shot" murmurs Michael Holding on air. Dancing down the pitch and lofting an inside-out drive over extra cover. Ah, such a pleasing sight...

10.2 - Karn Sharma to Gambhir, FOUR, Gambhir ain't missing out on this one. Short and wide, he rocks back and cuts fiercely to the right of deep backward point. Bhuvi dives but to no avail

9.0 - Bhuvneshwar to Gambhir, FOUR, nicely played by Gambhir, short and just outside off, he swivels across and flicks it fine, beats long leg to his left

7.4 - Henriques to Gambhir, FOUR, too short from Henriques, can't bowl those at his pace. Gambhir swivels across and pulls it over square leg, almost went all the way, bounced just in front of the ropes

5.4 - Barinder to Gambhir, FOUR, too short from Sran, Gambhir swivels across and pulls it behind square on the on-side. Karn was the fielder in the deep and he was well inside the ropes, the ball lobbed over him, bounced in front of the ropes for a boundary. Sran isn't impressed one bit with his effort

3.3 - Barinder to Uthappa, FOUR, Clubbed! This was a back of a length delivery outside off, Uthappa presses forward and drills it back over Sran's head, a couple of bounces and over the ropes

2.4 - Bhuvneshwar to Uthappa, FOUR, lovely shot, Uthappa has started well, tad fuller and a hint of angle back into the right-hander, Uthappa shuffles across, stays firm, closes the face of the bat at the last moment and eases it to the left of mid-on, no need to run for those

1.5 - Barinder to Gambhir, FOUR, that's easy pickings for Gambhir, too short from Sran, Gambhir swivels across and pulls it over mid-wicket, a couple of bounces and over the ropes

0.3 - Bhuvneshwar to Uthappa, FOUR, lovely shot, overpitched and well outside off, Uthappa leans forward, presents the full face of the bat and eases it square past point, rolls away to the fence in a hurry

17.5 - Mustafizur to Gambhir, SIX, this will do! The slower ball outside off and Gambhir has picked the bones out of it. Stays nice and still and smokes it over a leaping long-on. Davey Warner was the fielder and must say it was a terrific effort from the stubby lad, just as Styris previously said before. It ain't their day today...

9.1 - Henriques to Uthappa, SIX, cracking shot, leg-stump half-volley from Henriques, Uthappa shuffles across, gets inside the line and flicks it high and over backward square leg for a maximum

13.4 - Mustafizur to A Russell, out Bowled!! Whoa! Andre Russell is on the floor. "Not many batsmen in the world could have done any better about that" yells LSR on air. Aptly put. How does he do that? Foxed Andre Russell with his subtle wrists and delivered a picture-perfect yorker at 135-plus ks. Russell went too deep and failed to get his bat down in time. The stumps are shattered and so is Andre Russell. Warner looks amazed, shares a wry smile with the bowler. A Russell b Mustafizur 2(5)

12.3 - Ashish Reddy to Uthappa, out Lbw!! That's a loud cry, really loud cry. The umpire is thinking, thinking and then the finger goes up. A smile on Ashish Reddy's face. Was it heading towards the leg stump at least? Not really sure! Need a replay to confirm. Anyway, HYD have finally managed to break this excellent 92-run opening. It was the back-of-the-hand slower delivery from Reddy, Uthappa was almost on the walk as he tried to flick, lost balance and hence couldn't put bat on ball, impact was on middle and leg and the replay suggests that it would have hit the leg stump. Seems a decent call then! Uthappa lbw b Ashish Reddy 38(34) [4s-3 6s-1]

16.1 - Bhuvneshwar to M Pandey, 1 run, this time its Manish Pandey! A direct hit from Karn Sharma would have been curtains for him. "Just hasn't been their night" concedes Scotty Styris on air. Well said Sir! Pandey meekly flicked to short mid-wicket, Sharma throws himself to his left and fails to ping the stumps with his throw

15.5 - Barinder to Gambhir, 1 run, a direct hit from Shikhar Dhawan and Gambhir would have been a goner. He gave up mid-way. Tapped this slower ball towards cover and set off for a quick single. Dhawan aims and misses, Gambhir can breathe a sigh of relief now

12.1 - Ashish Reddy to Gambhir, 1 run, that's nicely placed and Gambhir's raises another T20 League fifty. Ashish Reddy starts off with a slower delivery close to the off stump, but it's short enough and Gambhir had all the time to wait on the back foot and guide the drive past backward point. No real celebrations from the KOL skipper, just a gentle raise of the bat

7.5 - Henriques to Gambhir, 1 run, the inswinging yorker from Henriques, Gambhir spots it early and flicks it to the left of mid-wicket, scampers across for a quick single

4.4 - Mustafizur to Uthappa, 1 run, a direct hit and Gambhir would have been running back to the pavilion, tip and run stuff from Uthappa, dropped a length delivery in front of short cover and set-off. Gambhir was late to respond, Mustafizur hared across him, picked up the ball, had all three stumps to aim and missed with his shy. Gambhir was nowhere to be seen
