Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

19.1 - T Perera to Elliott, FOUR, Elliott backs away and smacks this fullish delivery from Thisara Perera. He flays this over infield on the off-side and once it beat the fielder it was always going to be a boundary. It was hit over the cover fielder and there was no one in the deep

17.3 - Lakmal to Munro, FOUR, slower delivery outside off and Munro has picked the bones out of it. Goes deep inside the crease and smacks it over mid-off, one bounce and into the fence

17.1 - Lakmal to Ross Taylor, FOUR, Ross has hit 3 boundaries already. He's just faced 4 deliveries. Walks across as he always does and pulls wristily behind square on the leg-side, neatly done, placement was the key there

16.5 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Ross Taylor, FOUR, and to aggravate matters - an outside edge for four. This was slower and spinning away, Taylor hangs his bat looking to push/drive, gets a thick outside edge which flies past the keeper

16.4 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Ross Taylor, FOUR, Taylor rubs salt on Vandersay's wound. Dropped short and Taylor was quick to rock on to the back foot, cracking the cut behind backward point

15.0 - Dilshan to Munro, FOUR, ohh! That's cheeky but a boundary nonetheless. Munro reverses his stance and opts for a KP-esque switch hit. Doesn't get all of it but manages to place it in the gap between short third man and backward point, nice stuff this

9.4 - T Perera to Guptill, FOUR, dreadful ball from Perera, looked like the ball slipped out of his hands, ends up as a full toss on Guptill's thigh pad, flicked away behind square on the on-side, bounced just in front of the deep backward square boundary

8.4 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Williamson, FOUR, lovely shot, excellent use of the feet, gets close to the ball and goes inside out over extra cover, bisects the two men in the deep

8.0 - Lakmal to Williamson, FOUR, inside edge and four, Williamson gets lucky, short of a good length and just outside off, cramped Williamson for room, he was looking to cut, gets an inside edge past the off-stump, beat the diving keeper and rolled away to the fence, very very close to the off-stump, missed it by a whisker

6.0 - Jayasuriya to Williamson, FOUR, back-to-back boundaries for Williamson, this was tossed up and just outside off, Williamson made room outside leg and went over cover-point, ruins an excellent over from Jayasuriya

5.5 - Jayasuriya to Williamson, FOUR, cheeky and four, Jayasuriya fired on down the leg-side, Williamson gets down on his knees, uses the pace of the delivery and laps it behind square on the off-side for a boundary

2.4 - N Kulasekara to Williamson, FOUR, edged and four, Kulasekara went full and just outside off as Williamson shuffled across his stumps, he pushed with soft hands, gets a thick outside edge, no slips and the ball rolls away to the fence

1.2 - T Perera to Guptill, FOUR, Guptill is in some mood today, short of a good length and just outside off, he makes room outside leg and goes flat over extra cover, one bounce and over the ropes for a boundary

0.4 - Lakmal to Guptill, FOUR, that's easy pickings for Guptill, juicy full toss outside off, Guptill went hard on the drive, didn't get hold of the shot, but places it in the gap past cover, runs away to the fence

0.2 - Lakmal to Guptill, FOUR, cracking shot, short and wide outside off, Guptill gets on top of the bounce and cracks it square past point, no need to run for those

19.3 - T Perera to Ross Taylor, SIX, you can't bowl half-volleys to Ross Taylor. He is a class player and he will punish you all day if you bowl such stuff to him. Stands stall and dispatches this high and straight down the ground

17.5 - Lakmal to Munro, SIX, doesn't matter how it comes but Munro will take it. He is trying every possible way to get a four/six. Now he walks forward and across to smoke this length delivery high and sailing over deep-midwicket

14.5 - Dilshan to Munro, SIX, that's better from Munro. He steps out and smacks this flighted delivery high and over long-on, just enough power to clear the fence, finally the momentum seems to be back with New Zealand

9.3 - T Perera to Guptill, SIX, massive, Thisara misses his yorker for once, Guptill gets underneath the length and hoists it high and over long-on for a huge six. New Zealand need more of those. Guptill raises his fifty as well

3.2 - Jayasuriya to Williamson, SIX, lovely shot, Williamson comes down the track, makes room as he did so and chips this well flighted delivery over mid-off, the timing is sublime and the ball clears the long-off boundary

2.2 - N Kulasekara to Guptill, SIX, Guptill is dealing in sixes here, gives himself room, gets underneath the length ball and thumps it over mid-off for another maximum

2.0 - T Perera to Guptill, SIX, lovely shot, Guptill picked up the slower ball this time, gets down on one knee and clouts it high and over mid-off for his second six

1.0 - Lakmal to Guptill, SIX, that's a massive hit from Guptill, too short from Lakmal, sat up to be smacked, Guptill rocked back and pulled it high and over deep mid-wicket, went sailing over the mid-wicket boundary for the first six of the match

18.2 - N Kulasekara to Munro, out Caught&Bowled!! Another slower delivery and Munro is on his bike. He tries to drill this delivery over the bowler but was beaten for pace. Ends up spooning a simple catch back to the bowler. Kulasekara ain't dropping that. Munro c and b N Kulasekara 36(26) [4s-2 6s-2]

16.1 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Corey Anderson, out Caught by Siriwardana!! Crikey! For a fleeting moment that looked like a six, but it wasn't to be. Corey Anderson's brief knock comes to an end. He sits deep inside the crease to this loopy delivery. Hits hard and powers it straight down the throat of Milinda Siriwardana at long-off. Anderson tried to loft but there wasn't enough timing on the shot. Corey Anderson c Siriwardana b Jeffrey Vandersay 2(3)

15.1 - N Kulasekara to Williamson, out Caught by Lakmal!! Aaaaaand the skipper departs. He wasn't really timing the ball well as I mentioned in the previous over and he walks back with a sorry face. Kulasekara followed the batsman and flinged a slower delivery on Williamson's pads who was on the walk. Williamson tried to loft it over long-on but got it off the toe-end. Lakmal runs forward and accepts a simple catch. Williamson c Lakmal b N Kulasekara 53(42) [4s-5 6s-1]

10.5 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Williamson, out Guptill Run Out!! Brilliant, brilliant stuff from Kapugedera . He had one stump to aim at and jeez! He was deadly accurate with his throw, brings down curtains on an entertaining knock from Guptill. Williamson cut this towards backward point where Kapugedera hits the bulls-eye at the striker's end. He was quick to get to the ball. It was Williamson's call and even a desperate dive couldn't save Guptill. Guptill run out (Kapugedera) 58(34) [4s-4 6s-4]

16.3 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Munro, 1 run, dropped. That was a sitter and you can't afford to drop those. Especially in this format of the game. Munro reverses his stance and tries a similar stroke which he did a couple of overs ago. Got a big booming top-edge on that and deep backward point looked settled under it. He somehow allowed the ball to burst through his hands, poor stuff that

19.0 - N Kulasekara to Elliott, 1 run, run-out chance missed again! This time it's Siriwardana from extra cover who misses out on the direct hit. Elliott made room and drove this towards Siriwardana who had all the time in the world to hit the stumps. He missed and Elliott jogged through to keep the strike

13.3 - Jayasuriya to Williamson, 1 run, takes a step forward and bunts this down to long-on, also brings inside up his fifty. Raises his bat and acknowledges the applause from the crowd, he knows that there is plenty of job to be done

10.2 - Jeffrey Vandersay to Williamson, 1 run, flighted delivery and well outside off, Williamson comes down the track and drives it towards deep cover for a single

4.4 - N Kulasekara to Williamson, 1 run, Guptill was a goner had Siriwardana made a direct hit at the striker's end, back of a length and just outside off, Williamson pushed it straight to cover-point and set-off, Guptill had no chance, the throw is wild and easily misses the target

20.0 - Elliott to Jeffrey Vandersay, FOUR, That's it. Sri Lanka's woes continue in New Zealand. First the Test series, next the ODIs and now in the T20Is. The hosts go 1-0 up in the series. Coming to the final delivery: Slower and slinging down leg, Vandersay helps it with a scoop past short fine leg but that won't help Sri Lanka's cause

15.5 - Ish Sodhi to Kapugedera, FOUR, Kapugedera is going for his shots too. This one's a tad too straight from Sodhi. Kapugedera sits deep inside the crease and slog-sweeps this wide of deep backward square

15.2 - Ish Sodhi to Kapugedera, FOUR, shot! Kapugedera is off the mark with a boundary. He camps on the back foot and late-cuts this leg-spinner from Sodhi. Behind backward point and into the fence

14.5 - Matt Henry to Siriwardana, FOUR, Siriwardana isn't holding back! Plays his natural game irrespective of the situation. That's something I like about him. Sees there's ample width on offer and opens the bat face to club this full delivery through cover

14.3 - Matt Henry to T Perera, FOUR, what is happening out there? This is a free-hit ball and Henry delivers a full toss. Perera swivels and bludgeons it over backward square, one bounce and into the fence

14.0 - Munro to T Perera, FOUR, edged and four! Perera stays still inside the crease looking to flay this over cover. Manages a thick outside edge which runs through short third man and into the fence

13.3 - Munro to T Perera, FOUR, full toss again and Perera ain't missing out on this one. Gets into good position and biffs it over mid-on for a one-bounce four

5.5 - McClenaghan to Siriwardana, FOUR, Munro can't get this one. Again McClenaghan drops it short, Siriwardana went leg-side to open up the off-side field, cracked the cut to the right of Munro at cover-point, he dived and couldn't get there

4.3 - Matt Henry to Mathews, FOUR, looks like the Sri Lankan batters have decided to just play attacking cricket. Mathews shimmies down the track, converts it into a length delivery and whacks it over the bowler, no need to run for those

4.1 - Matt Henry to Gunathilaka, FOUR, lovely shot! The key was how he adjusted. Gunathilaka gave himself some room and Henry followed him, cramped him for room as well, but still Gunathilaka was able to get the pull away over mid-wicket, hit it flat and one bounce over the rope

1.5 - Boult to Chandimal, FOUR, overpitched and Chandimal pounces onto it. He doesn't bother to get to the pitch, allows his hands to reach the ball and drills it past the non-striker, no chance for KW at mid-off

0.4 - Matt Henry to Gunathilaka, FOUR, edged and four. Angled across the left-hander, Gunathilaka threw the kitchen sink at that, the outside edge flew to the left of first slip and beat third man comfortably

0.3 - Matt Henry to Gunathilaka, FOUR, well he is not afraid to play his shots. Another length delivery in the zone, Gunathilaka smashes it straight back over Henry's head, couple of bounces and into the fence

17.4 - Ish Sodhi to N Kulasekara, SIX, that's nailed! Right out of the screws. Goes deep inside the crease and smashes this flighted delivery high and sailing over deep mid-wicket fence. The fielder tried to grab it aerially but it was always going over him, commendable effort though

14.1 - Matt Henry to Siriwardana, SIX, that's going, going, going and gonnnnne. Straight into the stands over long-off. Siriwardana reads the slower delivery, stays still and smashes it nonchalantly over the ropes

12.3 - McClenaghan to T Perera, SIX, and can you believe this? McClenaghan has bowled a full toss and Perera has muscled it over the deep backward square fence. Just followed the line of the delivery and smashed it powerfully

7.0 - Elliott to Gunathilaka, SIX, effortless! Gunathilaka keeps going and Sri Lanka would want him to bat through. Length delivery close to off, was the slower one, Gunathilaka spotted it early and swung through the line, made decent contact as the ball sailed over the sightscreen

6.0 - McClenaghan to Siriwardana, SIX, the extra ball has cost McClenaghan six runs. Short delivery around off, sat up nicely for Siriwardana, he transfers his weight and muscles the pull in front of square, gets enough wood to clear the rope

2.3 - Matt Henry to Gunathilaka, SIX, that's outta here. A good old fashioned club over cow corner. Length delivery around off, Gunathilaka clears his front leg to give the freedom to swing, hoicks it well over deep mid-wicket for a maximum

19.4 - Elliott to Kapugedera, out Kapugedera Run Out!! 1 run completed. So New Zealand can't lose it from here. Unless they bowl something filthy. It was more of a hara-kiri from Sri Lanka. But they had to do so to get closer to the target. Kapugedera nails this full delivery towards long-on and yells out "two, two, two" to his partner. Jeffrey Vandersay responds but to be honest there was never a two there. Ball was flinged to Ronchi meaning Kapugedera was caught short by a long way. Kapugedera run out (Guptill/Ronchi) 17(15) [4s-2]

19.3 - Elliott to N Kulasekara, out Caught by Boult!! Is this the game for New Zealand? I think so. Timely wicket and Williamson is a delighted man. Slower delivery from Elliott, Kulasekara heaves it. Gets the elevation but no timing whatsoever. Ball swirls high in the air towards Boult at deep mid-wicket who steadies himself and accepts it gleefully. N Kulasekara c Boult b Elliott 14(10) [6s-1]

17.0 - Boult to Siriwardana, out Caught by McClenaghan!! End of a splendid and fighting knock from Siriwardana. It was a spectacular catch from McClenaghan though. Slower length delivery on the stumps. Siriwardana pulls sans any timing. Deep square leg runs to his right, covers good ground and slides to claim a well-judged catch. Took it with both hands and made it look so easy. Siriwardana c McClenaghan b Boult 42(31) [4s-2 6s-2]

14.4 - Matt Henry to T Perera, out Caught by Guptill!! Not this time Thisara! One too many strokes I reckon. However, this was a poor delivery and it certainly didn't deserve a wicket. Henry and New Zealand won't mind though. Full toss outside off, Perera mistimes the heave and Guptill sprints forward from long-off to take a simple chance. T Perera c Guptill b Matt Henry 28(19) [4s-3 6s-1]

9.3 - Ish Sodhi to Gunathilaka, out Caught by Ross Taylor!! Big wicket for New Zealand. The set batsman has been removed. He falls four short of a fifty. It was the googly on off, Gunathilaka might have not picked it, closed the bat face early on flick, the leading edge went at a comfortable height to Taylor at backward point. Gunathilaka c Ross Taylor b Ish Sodhi 46(29) [4s-3 6s-2]

5.0 - Matt Henry to Mathews, out Caught by Elliott!! What is going on? Why the hurry? Do they need to catch a flight or something? Another wicket gifted away, vey unlike Mathews. Shortish and just outside off, Mathews makes room, has to reach out and all he can do is toe-end the cut to short cover, Elliott takes a straightforward catch. Mathews c Elliott b Matt Henry 4(5) [4s-1]

3.5 - Boult to Jayasuriya, out Caught by Ronchi!! Oh no! Second batsman strangled down leg. Sri Lanka need to apply themselves and support Gunathilaka, who is going great guns at the other end. Fuller and slanting down leg, Jayasuriya goes for the glance, gets a faint edge to the right of Ronchi, it was a much easier take this time around. Jayasuriya c Ronchi b Boult 4(3)

3.0 - Matt Henry to Chandimal, out Caught by Ish Sodhi!! Needless! They had got the runs in the over and Chandimal tries to be over ambitious. He sees that the length is in the hitting zone, goes for the big loft down the ground, doesn't get it anywhere close to the middle, skies it towards mid-on where Sodhi settles under and takes it comfortably. Chandimal c Ish Sodhi b Matt Henry 7(7) [4s-1]

1.1 - Boult to Dilshan, out Caught by Ronchi!! Unlucky! This is a huge wicket for New Zealand. Dilshan walks back for nought. It was a loosener from Boult, well down leg, Dilshan did well to reach it, gets a fine tickle to the left of Ronchi, who moves across, dives forward and pouches it inches from the ground. The umpire knew there was some wood on that, but just wanted to check if it was taken cleanly and the third umpire helped him out with that. Dilshan c Ronchi b Boult 0(1)

18.4 - McClenaghan to N Kulasekara, 2 runs, slog, slog, slog - that's how Kulasekara's mind reads right now. He is hitting the ball hard and this time he biffs the drive towards long-on. Calls for a risky second and Kapugedera had to dive to make his ground, the throw was a poor one though
