35.3 - Irfan to Chandimal, FOUR, this is excellent cricket from Chandimal, length ball angling into Chandimal, he spots it early and flicks it behind square on the on-side, bisects the two men in the deep, races away to the fence

24.4 - Imad Wasim to Thirimanne, FOUR, tossed up and just outside off, Thirimanne looks to play the late cut, gets a thick edge through the vacant slip cordon. Malik gives chase from short third man, but he's lazy to bend down and allows the ball to hit the boundary ropes

17.0 - Azhar Ali to Thirimanne, FOUR, Thirimanne had seen enough, lofts this flighted delivery outside off high and over mid-off, hit that with some power, nice way to end the over

12.5 - Anwar Ali to Thirimanne, FOUR, short and wide, Thirimanne pounces on it as he cracks the cut square of the wicket, timed it to perfection and it raced away

49.3 - Irfan to Malinga, out Caught by Rizwan!! Pakistan are chipping away at the wickets. This was banged in short and came back with the angle, cramped Malinga for room. He pulls limply and it's a dolly to Rizwan at mid-wicket. Third wicket for Irfan, Sri Lanka lose their ninth wicket. Malinga c Rizwan b Irfan 17(13) [4s-2 6s-1]

48.1 - Anwar Ali to Sachith Pathirana, out Sachith Pathirana Run Out!! Excellent cricket from Anwar, he followed Pathirana as he backed away, Pathirana had no room to play the big shot, he pushed it in front of the bowler and called for a quick single. Anwar moves across to his left, picks up the ball, turns around and makes a direct hit at the bowler's end. Pathirana had given up, he was hoping that the bowler missed his mark, he didn't. Sachith Pathirana run out (Anwar Ali) 14(13) [4s-1]

46.3 - Anwar Ali to Priyanjan, out Caught by Hafeez!! Priyanjan falls in the quest of quick runs. This was another slower ball, bowled with a scrambled seam. Priyanjan made room outside leg, he was looking to go over cover. The ball goes off the base of the bat, simple catch to Hafeez at cover. Sri Lanka lose their seventh wicket. Priyanjan c Hafeez b Anwar Ali 18(28)

44.3 - Anwar Ali to Siriwardana, out Caught by Rizwan!! Excellent catch from Rizwan at backward point - the crowd go hush once again. This was pitched up and went with the angle, Siriwardana was looking to drive, ends up slicing it towards backward point. The ball was dropping in front of him, but Rizwan does well to dive forward, gets his hands underneath and completes the catch. Siriwardana falls after a small cameo. Siriwardana c Rizwan b Anwar Ali 19(11) [4s-2 6s-1]

41.1 - Yasir Shah to Thirimanne, out Caught by Ahmed Shehzad!! Shehzad makes amends for his previous miss, this was a tough catch as well, he made it look easy though. This was tossed up and well down the leg-side, Thirimanne went for the sweep, doesn't roll his wrists around it and hits it in the air - behind square on the on-side. Shehzad runs a few steps to his left, dives full length and takes the catch with both hands. He made sure that it didn't pop out when he hit the ground, Thirimanne walks off, SL are in some trouble now. Thirimanne c Ahmed Shehzad b Yasir Shah 90(126) [4s-5]

36.0 - Irfan to Chandimal, out Caught by Yasir Shah!! Another SL batsman has thrown away a start. This was full and angling onto Chandimal's pads, the slower off-cutter from Irfan, he was looking to mow it over mid-wicket, closed the face of the bat and gets a thick edge, right off the base off the bat. The ball goes high and towards deep backward square leg. Yasir settles underneath the skier and holds on. Second wicket for Irfan, SL lose their fourth wicket. Chandimal c Yasir Shah b Irfan 20(21) [4s-1]

30.4 - Rahat Ali to Mathews, out Caught by Yasir Shah!! Mathews falls early once again. Undue aggression has cost Mathews his wicket, he shimmied down the track to an off-cutter and was looking to go over the top, doesn't get hold of the shot, it goes off the toe-end and it's a simple chest high catch for Yasir - at mid-off. Mathews c Yasir Shah b Rahat Ali 12(23)

22.3 - Imad Wasim to Dilshan, out Bowled!! Wasim strikes! This was the arm-ball, went on with the angle after pitching around middle, Dilshan made room for the cut, the ball stayed a tad low and skidded through, Dilshan is completely undone, the leg-stump is rattled. Dilshan falls after a good hand, much needed wicket for Pakistan. Dilshan b Imad Wasim 50(59) [4s-3]

0.2 - Irfan to K Perera, out Caught by Imad Wasim!! A wicket on the second ball for Irfan, perfect start for the visitors. 20.5 - Imad Wasim to Thirimanne, 2 runs, pushed through flatter and just outside off, Thirimanne was looking to cut it late, gets a thick edge through the vacant slip cordon. Irfan chases and keeps them down to a couple of runs, brings up Sri Lanka's 100

39.1 - Sachith Pathirana to Sarfraz Ahmed, FOUR, lovely shot! Sarfraz saw that there was no one at deep mid-wicket, races down the wicket and whips it against the turn in front of square, ball races away

38.3 - Siriwardana to Shoaib Malik, byes, FOUR, Malik was almost cleaned up. The arm-ball, keeps a tad low, Malik goes for the pull and is undone by the lack of bounce, the ball almost shaved the off-pole. Chandimal doesn't glove it and it runs away

35.4 - Lakmal to Hafeez, FOUR, top shot! Everything right about that shot. Banged in halfway down the wicket, Hafeez swivels, rolls his wrists and pulls it behind square, the best part was he split the two fielders in the deep to perfection

33.1 - Lakmal to Hafeez, FOUR, banged in halfway down the wicket, Hafeez swivels across and pulls it over mid-wicket, not much pace from Lakmal to trouble the batsman, dealt with ease

27.5 - Dilshan to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, Shehzad enters the 90s in style. Executes a difficult shot and makes it look easy. Tossed up around off, Shehzad comes down the track, drives it against the turn, places it between extra cover and mid-off, the timing takes it to the fence

27.1 - Dilshan to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, superb shot! Flighted on the stumps, it was very full, Shehzad did well to get underneath it, kneels down and sweeps it over square leg, one bounce and into the fence

26.4 - Sachith Pathirana to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, fraction short and Shehzad is onto it in a flash, he uses the depth of the crease and pulls it powerfully through mid-wicket, no one in the deep to stop that

23.5 - Dilshan to Hafeez, FOUR, lovely shot! This is calculated batting from Hafeez. Tossed up on off, Hafeez kneels down and lifts the sweep over the infield, no one manning the deep square leg fence. And that is the second boundary of the over

23.1 - Dilshan to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, the Pakistani batsmen still taking on the spinners. This was slightly short, Shehzad is quick to move back and pull it over mid-wicket, bisected deep mid-wicket and long-on to perfection

22.5 - Sachith Pathirana to Hafeez, FOUR, spin or no spin, Hafeez is not afraid to use his feet, gets to the pitch of the ball, sees that mid-on is inside the ring, lofts it over that fielder and collects four more

22.1 - Sachith Pathirana to Hafeez, FOUR, Hafeez is slowly getting into his groove. Flighted outside off, Hafeez makes room as he comes down the track, lofts it inside out over extra cover, couple of bounces and into the fence

21.3 - Siriwardana to Hafeez, FOUR, drops it fractionally short, Hafeez is quick to rock back and muscle the pull over mid-wicket, no one there to protect the ball from reaching the fence

19.5 - Malinga to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, in the air and just wide of the man. Another whippy shot from Shehzad, he picked up the full delivery from outside off, wrists it uppishly to the left of mid-wicket, who dived and couldn't even get a fingertip on that

19.4 - Malinga to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, those are some strong wrists from Shehzad, he shuffles across and whips the fuller delivery on the stumps to the right of mid-wicket, no one in the deep and that's four more for Shehzad

18.4 - Lakmal to Hafeez, FOUR, that should make him better. Second four for Hafeez, slower delivery that is overpitched, Hafeez gets a good stride forward and caresses it through extra cover, the timing takes it to the fence

13.5 - Malinga to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, can you believe it? Again luck is with Shehzad and Pakistan, but this time it's Sri Lanka who offered a reprieve, length delivery and width on offer, Shehzad slashes hard again. Thirimanne who was stationed at first slip gets a hand and fails to latch onto it, the pace on the ball got the better of him. Shehzad completes his 13th ODI fifty, acknowledges the support from his partner

13.4 - Malinga to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, the luck is still with Pakistan, Mathews can't believe it, covers his face in disbelief. This was pitched on a good length and moving away outside off, Shehzad threw his bat at it, outside edge flies well wide of a diving keeper

12.0 - Malinga to Hafeez, FOUR, nice way to get off the mark, full length delivery and width on offer, Hafeez presses on the front foot and clobbers the drive square of the wicket, no protection in the deep and it raced away

7.5 - Sachith Pathirana to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, this is much better from Shehzad, he clearly doens't like spin, tossed up outside off, Shehzad drives off the front foot and places it wide of cover, he is taking on the spinner here

7.4 - Sachith Pathirana to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, plenty of air on this one, Shehzad skips out, converts it into a full toss and wrists the whip wide of mid-on, ball raced away in no time

7.2 - Sachith Pathirana to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, this is poor stuff from Lakmal, that could have been easily stopped, this was floated up nicely outside off, Shehzad leans on the drive and places it to the left of short cover, Lakmal at long-off made a very casual effort and allowed the ball to burst through his hands

3.4 - Lakmal to Azhar Ali, FOUR, edged and safe, on a good length and outside off, Ali was looking to force it through the off-side, ball takes the outside edge and runs away to the third man fence

3.3 - Lakmal to Azhar Ali, FOUR, that's sweetly timed by Ali, pitched up and on the stumps, Ali leans on the front foot and punches it past the non-striker, no need to run for those

2.5 - Malinga to Ahmed Shehzad, FOUR, that's called perfect placement, short of length and wide from Malinga, Shehzad stays on the back foot and punches it between backward point and cover point, no one bothered chasing that

2.3 - Malinga to Azhar Ali, FOUR, short and down leg from Malinga, Ali swivels across and rolls his wrists over the pull, timed it well and it raced away in a hurry to the fine leg fence

2.0 - Lakmal to Azhar Ali, FOUR, Lakmal fires it on the pads, Ali glances it fine and the pace of the ball beat Malinga's valiant dive at the fine leg fence, In fact Malinga got a hand to it but couldn't prevent the ball from kissing the ropes

40.5 - Siriwardana to Shoaib Malik, SIX, Pakistan win by 7 wickets. They win the series, with a game in hand. Their first bilateral series win in Sri Lanka since 2006. Malik does it in style. This was fraction short, he goes right back in the crease, muscles the pull flat and over deep mid-wicket

39.4 - Sachith Pathirana to Shoaib Malik, SIX, Malik is in a hurry here. He has just hit his third six. Tossed up on off, Malik shimmies down the wicket, gets to the pitch and lofts it over long-on for a maximum

39.0 - Siriwardana to Shoaib Malik, SIX, massive! Malik picked the length on this one quite early, he used the depth of the crease and smoked it over mid-wicket, got plenty of wood as the ball sailed into the crowd

37.5 - Sachith Pathirana to Shoaib Malik, SIX, miscued shot goes for six. Flighted on off, Malik takes a step out, doesn't get to the pitch, but still goes through with the loft, Thirimanne at long-off thought he was in with a chance, but the ball had enough to clear him

29.0 - Sachith Pathirana to Hafeez, SIX, majestic shot! These two are doing with ease now. Flighted delivery on off, Hafeez brings on his dancing shoes, meets the pitch of the ball and lofts it handsomely over long-on for a maximum

5.1 - Sachith Pathirana to Ahmed Shehzad, SIX, spin into the action and Shehzad doesn't like it I guess, unsettles the spinner, comes down the track to this tossed up delivery and smacks it high and over long-on. First six of the Pakistani innings

36.1 - Siriwardana to Hafeez, out Caught by Chandimal!! Is there still a twist in the game? The well-set Hafeez walks back to the pavilion. This was beautifully bowled, floated up nicely, Hafeez skips out of the crease giving himself room, looks to go inside out, the ball takes a feather on the way to Chandimal, who juggles it a couple of times before holding on. Hafeez c Chandimal b Siriwardana 70(88) [4s-8 6s-1]

31.2 - Lakmal to Ahmed Shehzad, out Caught by K Perera!! No hundred for Shehzad. A terrific catch to deny him the milestone. He is disappointed as he walks back to the pavilion. Shortish and outside off, Shehzad stands up and guides it in the air towards third man, Perera runs forward, dives and clasps it with both hands. He did well to ensure that the ball didn't pop out when he hit the ground. Nonetheless, Shehzad has done his job and has put Pakistan on the road to victory. Ahmed Shehzad c K Perera b Lakmal 95(90) [4s-12 6s-1]

11.1 - Malinga to Azhar Ali, out Caught by (sub)Senanayake!! So after 66 deliveries, Sri Lanka get their first wicket, the Pakistani skipper is livid with himself. This was a length delivery wide of off, Ali comes down the track and slashes hard at it, the thick outside edge flies towards third man who settles under and accepts an easy chance. Azhar Ali c (sub)Senanayake b Malinga 33(28) [4s-4]

39.5 - Sachith Pathirana to Shoaib Malik, 1 run, dropped! Kusal has put down a tough chance. Malik comes down the track, kneels down and nails the slog sweep, finds Kusal at mid-wicket, who leaps to his left and spills it. He did well to get a hand as that ball was travelling

30.0 - Pradeep to Hafeez, 1 run, 27th ODI fifty for Hafeez. He gets there with a scampered run. Good length ball on off, Hafeez pushes it to mid-on and calls for a sharp single, the fielder was just sitting back and is late to react, fires a throw but Hafeez was well in. Punch of gloves between the two batsmen to celebrate the milestone

28.3 - Sachith Pathirana to Ahmed Shehzad, 1 run, Shehzad is trying to hit the cover off the ball, skips out of the crease, wanted to go over the bowler's head, ends up dragging it wide of mid-on. The 100-run stand comes up
