48.4 - Stokes to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, that's a hat-trick of fours for Marsh. High full toss from Stokes, Marsh wanted to loft it straight down the ground, but the bat turned in his hands on impact and it went over mid-off

48.3 - Stokes to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, nicely done and Australia cross 300. Full and angling in, strays down the leg-side, Marsh glances it fine to the fine leg boundary

48.2 - Stokes to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, long-off is inside the ring and that's a safe shot. Back of the hand slower ball goes very full, Marsh waits for the ball to come and lofts it handsomely over the infield for four

48.0 - Woakes to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, ohhhh what an effort by Jason Roy! He almost took a stunner there. Fifty for Marsh with that boundary. Full and in the slot as Woakes misses his yorker by some distance, Marsh really hits the lofted drive hard, hits it flat, Roy runs to his right from sweeper cover, dives full length and gets his right hand to it, his initial intent was to prevent the ball from flying past the rope, although he couldn't stick onto it, he flicked it back, but the ball rolled back off his other hand to touch the rope

44.5 - Stokes to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, he's a strong lad, Mitch Marsh. Back of a length and just outside off stump, Marsh stays leg-side of the ball and flat-bats the drive very hard, long-on had no chance

43.3 - Finn to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, whipped away for four, this time it beats Alex Hales on the dive. Fullish and angling in on leg stump line, Marsh sends it through square leg, Hales runs to his right from deep square leg, but even a full length dive wasn't good enough in the end

43.2 - Finn to Mitchell Marsh, FOUR, chase for Ben Stokes, he does well to flick it back, but it rolls back and touches the rope. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Marsh dances down the track and slaps it hard over extra-cover, Stokes runs to his left and dives, flicks the ball back, but it escapes for four

41.4 - Finn to Watson, FOUR, a desperate dive to his left by Ben Stokes but it goes past him. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, Watson cuts it late and cuts it onto the ground, the ball bounces past backward point and rockets for four

39.0 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, FOUR, alright folks, fasten your seat belts, the Big Show has started to cut loose. Low full toss, Maxwell sweeps hard, hits it well enough to beat deep mid-wicket to his right. 19 runs off that over and all of a sudden Moeen Ali's figures have been spoiled

36.4 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, FOUR, the reverse sweep from Maxwell and he's hit it well. Flighted delivery outside off stump, Maxwell sends it from the middle of the bat and to the right of backward point

32.3 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, FOUR, down leg, easy pickings for Maxwell as he swings it behind square and gets it wide of the fielder at deep backward square leg. Free hit and Maxwell took full toll of it

29.4 - Plunkett to Maxwell, FOUR, no slip and it races away to third man, Plunkett induces the outside edge as Maxwell pokes at a length delivery outside off, too far for the keeper to dive and catch it. Maxwell gets off the mark in a streaky manner

27.0 - Stokes to Smith, FOUR, lovely way to get 50. He likes Lord's and in particular London. Got a double here in the Test and now 50. This was full and wide outside off, Smith likes it there, opens the face of the bat and then flays it wide of point. Flourishing followthrough of the bat and sweeper had no chance. Smith knows he has to kick on though

21.4 - Adil Rashid to Bailey, FOUR, that is a meaty blow. Bailey saw the flight and the width outside off, reached out and slammed it inside out over cover, almost went all the way, just a bounce and then over. That was a superb strike from Bailey who is a fine player of spin

20.3 - Stokes to Bailey, FOUR, again Bailey has it easy. Nothing short ball outside off, sat up for Bailey to pull who did so, bisecting fine leg and deep square, perfectly placed and quickly Bailey has moved onto 39

19.5 - Adil Rashid to Bailey, FOUR, beautiful shot. Takes on Adil Rashid, comes down the track and then to the pitch as he drives and beats cover to his right, who dived but didn't get a hand on it, long-off had no chance. Hit all along the ground too. Footwork the key there from Bailey

19.2 - Adil Rashid to Smith, FOUR, that's a bad ball. Real half-tracker, dragged down, Smith had all the time to rock back and find the gap, pulled it to the deep square leg fence

19.0 - Plunkett to Bailey, FOUR, poor last delivery and Plunkett shouts a loud 'no' after delivering that. Full and down leg - a freebie and Bailey flicks between fine leg and deep square leg, bisected them both to perfection

13.1 - Stokes to Smith, FOUR, poor delivery from Stokes, short and Smith gets inside the line to pull, beats fine leg easily who had too much room to cover

10.5 - Plunkett to Bailey, FOUR, superbly done by Bailey. Plunkett overpitches outside off and Bailey leans into the off-drive, gets it wide of mid-off and the ball races away. Bailey relied more on timing than anything else. Plunkett just accepts his fate and looks at Morgan before walking back to his mark

9.3 - Woakes to Smith, FOUR, third time that Smith has flicked Woakes for a boundary in that area. Between mid-wicket and mid-on. Full and on off, Smith whips that after getting forward. That's his area

8.2 - Finn to Burns, FOUR, Finn has been guilty of bowling too full to Burns. This is another overpitched delivery on off stump, Burns gets forward and drives it past the stumps at the other end and the ball scooted away

7.5 - Woakes to Smith, FOUR, and when Woakes bowls straight, Smith puts it away. Full on off and middle, clipped wristily through mid-wicket and the ball races away. He is very strong in that region

6.4 - Finn to Burns, FOUR, now to the left of mid-off. Top driving from Burns. Gets forward and laces it wide of Morgan at mid-off. He dived but didn't even get a finger on it. Finn too full. Needs to pull his length back

6.3 - Finn to Burns, FOUR, that's where he is so good, square of the wicket on the off-side. Full outside off, he opens the face of the bat on the square drive and beats point to his right

5.4 - Woakes to Smith, FOUR, very strong is Smith in that area. Full around off, Smith uses his strong wrists to flick that wide of mid-wicket. The bottom-hand came into play and since the length was so full, Smith found it easy to get the boundary

4.1 - Finn to Smith, FOUR, short and wide outside off, Smith slashes hard and beats the man running across from third man. Woakes ran and dived but the timing on the shot beat him. Poor ball and got what it deserved

2.5 - Finn to Burns, FOUR, long half-volley from Finn and Burns puts it away. Gets forward and laces the drive through cover. Neatly played as he opened the face on that while getting forward. All along the ground

47.5 - Woakes to Mitchell Marsh, SIX, Marsh is not hitting this to hand. Full toss from Woakes, Marsh smashes the loft really hard, long-on runs to his left but it went well over him

46.1 - Stokes to Mitchell Marsh, SIX, lofted all the way, how strong is that bottom hand! He did this so easily. Full and angling in, on leg stump as well, Marsh waits for the ball to come and smashes it handsomely over long-on

43.0 - Moeen Ali to Watson, SIX, once again Moeen Ali goes for 19 runs in an over. Flighted delivery on the off stump, Watson doesn't get to the pitch of the ball despite putting on the dancing shoes, yet goes through with the slog and he times it well enough to send it sailing over deep mid-wicket

42.5 - Moeen Ali to Watson, SIX, oh that's massive. The cameraman has lost it, well, it's in the top tier as well. Flighted delivery on the off stump, Watson advances and muscles the loft way back over the long-on boundary

42.2 - Moeen Ali to Mitchell Marsh, SIX, that's smashed. Marsh uses his feet to get to the pitch of the ball and swings his bat nicely to loft it high over wide long-on

38.5 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, SIX, and again, almost the same area. Flighted delivery from Moeen Ali, this time Maxwell doesn't step out, allows the ball to come and smashes it hard over wide long-off

38.4 - Moeen Ali to Maxwell, SIX, oh that's smashed, he gave it all and cleared the boundary at wide long-off. Flighted delivery outside off stump, Maxwell steps out very late, but gets to the pitch of the ball, lofts it handsomely for a maximum

35.2 - Adil Rashid to Maxwell, SIX, that's a rank long hop and Maxi muscles it into the second tier. The attempted googly goes horribly wrong for Rashid, it goes way too short and Maxwell smashes the pull over deep backward square leg. That is Maxi's 50th six in ODIs

49.0 - Stokes to Mitchell Marsh, out Caught by Buttler!! Slower delivery banged short and down the leg-side, Marsh was early into the pull, the ball hits the glove and goes straight into the hands of the keeper. End of a sensational innings from Marsh. Mitchell Marsh c Buttler b Stokes 64(31) [4s-7 6s-3]

48.1 - Stokes to Wade, out Caught&Bowled!! Easy catch for Stokes. Short delivery on the off stump, Wade goes for the pull, gets a top edge that goes up in the air, Stokes moves forward and to his right in his followthrough and completes a simple catch. Stokes is on a hat-trick. He removed Watson with the last ball of his previous over. Wade c and b Stokes 1(2)

47.0 - Stokes to Watson, out Caught by Plunkett!! Full toss, hit hard and straight to long-on. Watto went deep into the crease and smashed the full toss hard, but didn't get the distance and the height, long-on moved slightly to his right before completing an easy catch. Watson c Plunkett b Stokes 39(38) [4s-1 6s-2]

39.5 - Finn to Maxwell, out Lbw!! Appeal from England and the finger goes up. Maxwell thinks about the review but Watson nods suggesting that it was out and that was absolutely plumb in front. Umpire Kumar Dharmasena was quick to make the call. Big wicket for England as Maxwell was looking very good and now he falls one short of a fifty. Straight ball from Finn, pitched on a good length and heading towards the stumps, Maxwell went back and tried to flick, missed and the ball hit him in line with middle. The replays shows that he also moved across the sticks, but failed to get bat on ball. Maxwell lbw b Finn 49(38) [4s-4 6s-3]

33.3 - Adil Rashid to Smith, out Caught by James Taylor!! Smith is gone now. In the seventies. He puts his head back in disappointment and looks at the sky before walking off. This was tossed up outside off, inviting the square drive, Smith went for it and didn't keep it down. Straight to backward point. Easy catch and Adil Rashid strikes. Smith c James Taylor b Adil Rashid 70(87) [4s-7]

28.2 - Moeen Ali to Bailey, out Bowled!! The change has worked and Morgan is exultant. Sharp turn for Moeen Ali, Bailey didn't step out this time, saw the shorter length and went back to cut, but was done in by the spin, the ball misses the inside edge and hits leg stump. Bailey b Moeen Ali 54(72) [4s-5]

8.5 - Finn to Burns, out Bowled!! Cleaned up. Full and nips back in down the slope, Burns was driving so well but this one he leaves a small gap between bat and pad, the ball rushes through that gap to hit the stumps. Good delivery and got the wicket it deserved. Burns b Finn 22(26) [4s-4]

25.2 - Plunkett to Bailey, 1 run, full outside off, Bailey gets forward and drives square of the wicket, for a single. That will be 50 and he gets the applause. 16th time that he has got to fifty in ODIs

40.5 - Coulter-Nile to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, that's too good for Ashton Agar, fifty partnership comes up off just 19 balls. Full and outside off stump, Morgan lofts the drive inside-out over extra-cover, Agar runs to his left from sweeper cover but it escaped for four

40.3 - Coulter-Nile to Plunkett, FOUR, down the track, swings hard, outside edge runs away for four. The crowd are right behind England. Plunkett steps out and tries to smash this slower ball out of the park, gets the toe-end of the bat and it beats third man, who was running to his left

39.5 - P Cummins to Plunkett, FOUR, this is a crazy counter-attack from England. With 8 wickets down, if you thought Australia had this in the bag, you are wrong. These two are batting so well. Short and on the stumps, Plunkett pulls over mid-wicket, no protection in the deep. A furious Steve Smith asks Cummins to bowl full and force the batsman to drive

39.4 - P Cummins to Plunkett, FOUR, smashed! Short and wide outside off stump, Plunkett rocks back and cuts really hard, doesn't bother to keep it down as he sends this through point. Woakes claps from the dressing room

39.3 - P Cummins to Plunkett, FOUR, shortish and outside off stump, Plunkett pulls powerfully, not from the middle of the bat as the bat turned in his hands when the ball made contact, it flew away over mid-wicket

39.1 - P Cummins to Plunkett, FOUR, lovely off-drive from Plunkett. Full and on the stumps, Plunkett drives it past the bowler and mid-off had no chance

38.2 - Mitchell Marsh to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, slower ball and that's lofted over the infield. Morgan waits for the ball to come and lofts the drive, mid-off is inside the ring and it goes for a one-bounce four

33.4 - Coulter-Nile to Woakes, FOUR, Coulter-Nile keeps it in the channel outside off, Woakes neatly opens the face and guides it to third man for a four

27.5 - Starc to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, full and down the leg-side, Morgan works it to fine leg for a boundary. The crowd is giving Starc a hard time

25.3 - Starc to Stokes, FOUR, Starc drags his length back a touch and keeps it outside off, Stokes tries to drive, gets an outside edge to third man for a boundary. There is no slip and it raced away

22.2 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, FOUR, width on offer and that is where Morgan is good at it. He uses the crease, cuts it past the fielder at backward point and it runs away to the boundary boards

17.3 - P Cummins to James Taylor, FOUR, again width on offer, Taylor cuts it hard, the fielder at backward point dives to his right but can't save the boundary. It rocketed to the boundary boards on that occasion

17.1 - P Cummins to James Taylor, FOUR, that was a cracker of a shot from Taylor. A touch of width on offer. Taylor goes up and over backward point with a square drive and it runs away to the boundary boards in a flash

16.0 - P Cummins to James Taylor, FOUR, Taylor has always shown that he has quick hands. This time around, Cummins bangs it short and bowls it outside off, Taylor pulls it off the front foot in front of square on the on-side

14.2 - Mitchell Marsh to James Taylor, FOUR, pulled with a strong bottom hand grip, short mid-wicket dives full length to his left but it escapes, Marsh dropped it short and Taylor was quick to rock back and pull on that occasion

10.1 - Mitchell Marsh to Jason Roy, leg byes, FOUR, short of length delivery down the leg-side, Roy misses the flick, the ball rolls off the thigh pad and goes past the keeper

10.0 - P Cummins to James Taylor, FOUR, this is a lovely cover drive, full and outside off stump, Taylor drives along the ground through cover, that should ease some nerves

9.0 - Mitchell Marsh to Jason Roy, FOUR, lovely drive! Full and outside off stump, Roy leans forward and drives with a straight bat, beats Mitchell Marsh in his followthrough and mid-off had no chance

6.1 - Starc to Jason Roy, FOUR, Roy continues to impress at one end. Full and outside off stump, Roy leans forward and drives along the ground through cover, hits the gap and picks up four

5.4 - Coulter-Nile to Hales, FOUR, way too short, not high enough to trouble Hales, who rocks back and pulls powerfully through mid-wicket, Hales rolled his wrists over the ball to keep it down

5.2 - Coulter-Nile to Hales, FOUR, now the length is too full, Hales plays a punchy cover-drive, finds the gap at cover and the ball wins the race to the boundary

4.1 - Starc to Hales, FOUR, that's a lovely square drive from Hales. Full and wide outside off stump, Hales leans forward, doesn't try to over-hit the ball, sends it through cover-point and it rockets for four

3.0 - Starc to Hales, no ball, FOUR, Starc oversteps as he delivers this full ball on the leg stump, Hales flicks it along the ground through mid-wicket, that should get him going

2.0 - Coulter-Nile to Jason Roy, FOUR, wow! Roy is looking in great touch out there. Full and on the stumps, Roy drives down the ground, sends it to the right of mid-on for a boundary

1.4 - Coulter-Nile to Jason Roy, FOUR, good length delivery on the leg stump, Roy doesn't try to over-hit the ball, just flicks it with soft hands through mid-wicket and it runs away for four

1.3 - Coulter-Nile to Jason Roy, FOUR, full and in the slot, Roy leans forward and drives it through cover for four, that was so easily done

0.5 - Starc to Jason Roy, FOUR, overpitched by Starc and Roy opens his account in style. Full and outside off stump, Roy leans forward and drives it to the left of mid-off, who had no chance

38.4 - Mitchell Marsh to Eoin Morgan, SIX, oh that's massive. Slower delivery on the stumps, Morgan advances and muscles the loft way over long-on, it is a crowd catch as well

38.3 - Mitchell Marsh to Eoin Morgan, SIX, oh has Coulter-Nile taken a blinder? No, he himself signals six to the umpire. Good sportsmanship from him. Short delivery on the leg stump, Morgan pulls it high over backward square leg, Coulter-Nile takes the catch, but his toes were touching the rope, he threw the ball back before he crossed the boundary as he was falling, but it was quite clear that he was in contact with the boundary with the ball in hand

38.0 - P Cummins to Eoin Morgan, SIX, bowled at 88.7mph and hit at over 100mph. Short delivery on the stumps, Morgan goes for the hook, swings his bat hard, it goes high in the air and clears the long leg boundary as well

30.4 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, SIX, well, for a moment it didn't feel like Morgan got this one off the middle of the bat. However, the lofted shot he tried goes all the way over long-on for a six. The fielder at mid-on gives the chase, but to no avail as it went for a six

42.3 - P Cummins to Eoin Morgan, out Caught by Maxwell!! That's it! Australia win the second ODI by 64 runs. Full and in the slot for Morgan to tee off, he tries to smash it hard, the bat turns in his hands and goes high up in the air, long-off takes an easy catch. Eoin Morgan c Maxwell b P Cummins 85(87) [4s-4 6s-4]

41.1 - Starc to Plunkett, out Bowled!! Timbaahhh! Bring me back skipper, I'll knock him over says Starc. He points to a section of the crowd and celebrates. Full and coming in with the angle, Plunkett advances and swings hard, misses and the ball crashes into the leg stump. End of an entertaining 55-run stand. Plunkett b Starc 24(12) [4s-5]

37.4 - P Cummins to Adil Rashid, out Caught by Coulter-Nile!! In the air and taken. Full and in the slot, Rashid goes for the drive, but doesn't control it, mid-on moves to his left, dives and takes it with both hands. Adil Rashid c Coulter-Nile b P Cummins 2(8)

35.3 - P Cummins to Woakes, out Caught by Wade!! Woakes has got an inside edge on this short delivery and the keeper completes the catch. Tame dismissal. Woakes tried to pull this short delivery that was bowled outside off, he got into a bad position to play that shot, it takes the inside edge and easy catch for the keeper. The hosts are hurtling towards a defeat, here. Woakes c Wade b P Cummins 6(12) [4s-1]

32.3 - Maxwell to Moeen Ali, out Caught by Mitchell Marsh!! Ali loses his wicket in an attempt to up the ante. He tried to play the sweep to a tossed up delivery outside leg, got a top-edge and it went straight to the fielder at deep backward square leg. The fielder shows good judgment and takes the catch. Moeen Ali c Mitchell Marsh b Maxwell 8(15)

26.2 - Maxwell to Buttler, out Lbw!! Buttler too is out and now England are in all sorts of trouble. It was a delivery that was bowled on the stumps, Buttler tried to work it through the on-side and missed. No wonder, Australians straightaway went up in unison for lbw. However, after having a close look at it, the on-field umpire decided to not give it out. The Aussies then went for the review and on the review it was clear that the impact was in-line and hitting the middle-stump. So the decision was overturned. Buttler lbw b Maxwell 0(3)

25.4 - Starc to Stokes, out Obstructing the field!! Well, Stokes has got out in controversial circumstances there. It was a fuller delivery from Starc, Stokes drove it back towards the bowler, Starc collects it in his followthrough and throws it back at the stumps, Stokes though, gets in the way, he gets a glove onto it. While Stokes was trying to back to the crease with the bat in his right hand, it appeared as if he unnecessarily put his left hand up and stopped the ball, which was heading towards the stumps. The Australians appeal for obstruction. The umpires go to the third umpire who believes that there was enough evidence to give the batsman out. There were a lot of boos from the crowd as they believe the Aussies shouldn't have appealed for it. Stokes obstructing the field 10(7) [4s-1]

21.2 - Mitchell Marsh to James Taylor, out Caught by Wade!! Taylor has paid the price for trying to be too innovative. He tries to dab this delivery that was bowled in the channel outside off, gets an outside edge and Wade completes the catch. It was a nothing shot from Taylor on that occasion. He yet again got a start, but couldn't convert it into a big one. Remember, he also got a couple of reprieves. James Taylor c Wade b Mitchell Marsh 43(57) [4s-5]

11.4 - P Cummins to Jason Roy, out Caught by Wade!! Edgedddd and that's well taken by Wade. Poor shot from Roy. Cummins is pumped. Short of a length delivery wide outside off stump, Roy reaches out and tries to drive, gets a thick edge, the keeper dives to his right and takes it with both hands. Big wicket for Australia as Roy was well set. Jason Roy c Wade b P Cummins 31(32) [4s-6]

5.5 - Coulter-Nile to Hales, out Caught by Smith!! My word! What a catch by Steve Smith. Hales can't believe, he thought that was heading for four. Full and outside off stump, Hales drives, but doesn't control it, hits it in the air, Smith flies full length to his right at short cover, goes with both hands and the ball sticks in his left hand. So that move to remove one slip and have himself at short cover has worked for Australia. This was almost similar to the catch he took to dismiss Buttler in the 2015 World Cup. Hales c Smith b Coulter-Nile 18(20) [4s-4]

28.4 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, 1 run, very good effort from Starc to take a catch. He jumps in the air and gets a hand onto it, but couldn't hold onto the catch. These sort of catches either stick or don't. Morgan had tried to play the reverse sweep by taking that ball from outside the leg-stump, it was in the air and went to Starc at backward point and he dropped a tough catch

11.1 - P Cummins to James Taylor, 1 run, Oh dear! Marcus Stoinis - the substitute - drops a sitter. Short delivery outside off stump, Taylor slashes and gets a thick edge, third man moves forward, gets into a very good position, gets both hands to it but it pops out

34.3 - Maxwell to Eoin Morgan, 2 runs, well-measured fifty for Morgan. This is his 26th fifty in ODIs for him. There was width on offer, Morgan cuts it to deep extra cover. The fielder in the deep runs to his left and saves a couple of runs
