Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

We are ready to go again. Unadkat has the new ball in his hand. He has been in good form in the domestic circuit

Harbhajan: "I am happy with the way it went today. The ball was gripping. I was quite satisfied with how I bowled. But for one ball to Surya which turned out to be a full toss. It is a team game. Krunal is a new guy. We discussed a few things in the meeting. I just asked Krunal to back himself. It is a pretty good wicket. The Mumbai wicket is nice to bat on. We have to bat for first six overs well and if we have wickets in hand, everything is chasable here. I still have to go in and see what is the plan. If I get an opportunity, I will try to enjoy myself (Hussey asked the veteran offspinner, whether he would come in as the pinch-hitter)."

The good thing from Mumbai's perspective was that they got wickets at crucial junctures and that might have helped them to keep it 20 runs less from what Kolkata looked like posting at one stage. KOL missed a trick by anointing Shakib up the order with a message to go after everything. Chris Lynn, who was drafted in the final XI for today's game, would have suited the plan better. We already have seen dew play its part. Ask Southee, who let two sitters slip out off his compatriot McClenaghan's bowling. Outfield is only going to get wetter in the next one and a half hour or so. Unless they do not implode, Mumbai have a better chance of finishing at the right end in their last home game of the season. Stay tuned for the chase...

We all wish for the second chance after failing at the first attempt. McClenaghan too would have wished for it after dropping Gambhir off his own bowling on 8. His wish got fulfilled eventually but not before Gauti had done the job courtesy his 29th T20 League fifty. Continuing their good form this season, once again the Kolkata openers gave a rollicking start. While Uthappa departed to a mistimed loft off Harbhajan, the skipper held one end, continued to nudge around before shifting gears.

19.6 - Bumrah to Y Pathan, 1 run, full toss and on the stumps, Pathan clubs it to deep mid-wicket, but can't sneak in another run

19.5 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, 1 run, Lynn pulls it to mid-wicket. The slower one from Bumrah

19.4 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, no run, full and just outside off, Lynn is beaten on the drive. It missed the off-stump by a whisker

19.3 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, 2 runs, very full and on the stumps, Lynn gets an inside edge to fine leg

19.2 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, 2 runs, the slower short one from Bumrah, pulled to deep mid-wicket for a brace. Good running between the wickets there

19.1 - Bumrah to Chris Lynn, 2 runs, Pandya shows spectacular effort at deep mid-wicket to get the ball back into play. Lynn pulls it to deep mid-wicket, where Pandya jumps in the air and attempts to take it with both hands to his left, but loses balance. He manages to parry the ball back into play. Pollard tidies up and fires in a throw

18.6 - McClenaghan to Y Pathan, FOUR, shorter in length, Pathan pulls it to the deep mid-wicket fence. Southee had no chance there

18.5 - McClenaghan to Y Pathan, no run, very full and outside off, Pathan can't reach it

18.4 - McClenaghan to Y Pathan, FOUR, holy! Moly! Can you believe it, he has dropped another sitter and that is Southee. I am scratching my head in utter disbelief. Is it due to dew that he is having wet hands? Pathan pulls it to deep mid-wicket, where Southee runs forward and the ball goes through his hands and into the fence

18.3 - McClenaghan to Chris Lynn, 1 run, Southee has dropped a dolly at deep mid-wicket. MUM have dropped quite a few today. Lynn pulls a slower back of a length delivery to Southee at deep mid-wicket, who runs around, but jumps in the air and that perhaps resulted in him losing his balance. Despite looking to take it with both hands, the ball pops out

18.2 - McClenaghan to Chris Lynn, no run, Lynn backs away slightly, but McClenaghan watches the movement of the batsman superbly. He uses the slower one and hurls it on Lynn's pads. He looks to hoick it across the line and connects with thin air

18.1 - McClenaghan to Y Pathan, 1 run, the cross-seamer from McClenaghan, Pathan pulls it to deep mid-wicket

17.5 - Southee to Y Pathan, 1 run, Southee, this time, gets more shoulder on his short delivery, Pathan ekes out a top-edge to fine leg, where the fielder is late to get to the ball. Mitch was the fielder on that occasion

17.4 - Southee to Y Pathan, FOUR, shorter in length, Pathan cracks the pull to the deep backward square leg boundary. It came right off the screws. The boundary rider had no chance there

17.3 - Southee to Y Pathan, FOUR, very full from Southee, Pathan cracks the drive past Krunal at extra cover. Despite Rohit running back at mid-off and putting in a dive, he could not get to the ball

Yusuf Pathan, right handed bat, comes to the crease

17.2 - Southee to A Russell, out Bowled!! Peach of a delivery from Southee. Is that reverse swing? I felt so. From round the wicket, Southee bowls it very full and on the stumps, Russell just backed away and looked to clobber it across the line, but missed completely. The stumps took a beating there. It tailed in a touch. A Russell b Southee 22(16) [4s-3]

16.2 - Bumrah to A Russell, FOUR, now that was nailed by Russell! Russell hammers a very full delivery and on the stumps into the downtown territories

16.1 - Bumrah to A Russell, FOUR, from slightly wide of the crease, Bumrah bangs it short and follows the batsman with his banged in short delivery, Russell plonks his front foot and looks to pull, but gets a top-edge and it flies over the keeper's head and into the fence

Chris Lynn 0(1) A Russell 7(9) Southee 3-0-25-1

15.6 - Southee to Chris Lynn, no run, I have always believed, Southee has a very underrated bouncer. Even in the Under-19 WC in 2008, he used that to great effect. Here, he bangs it short and follows the batsman, who watches it carefully and sits under it

Chris Lynn, right handed bat, comes to the crease

Time-Out in place now.

15.5 - Southee to Suryakumar Yadav, out Caught&Bowled!! Yadav's brief stay at the crease comes to an end. He looks to pull a short delivery that was bowled with cross-seam. But it hits the splice of the bat and Southee sets under it to snaffle the catch. Southee got good shoulder on it and that made it difficult for Yadav to pull off the front foot. Southee to Suryakumar Yadav, THAT'S OUT!! Caught&Bowled!!

15.4 - Southee to A Russell, 1 run, shorter in length from Southee, Russell pulls it to fine leg with his one leg up in the air. McClenaghan at short fine leg though, dives to his left and makes a good stop

15.3 - Southee to A Russell, no run, Southee bangs it and gets good height on it, Russell sits under it. It was close to being called a wide for height

13.5 - McClenaghan to Gambhir, out Caught by Pollard!! The prized scalp has been snared by McClenaghan. He gets the reward for using the short delivery, this time. Gambhir tried to pull, but McClenaghan gets good shoulder on it. Eventually, Gambhir could only splice it to Pollard at mid-off, who snaffled an easy catch. Gambhir c Pollard b McClenaghan 59(45) [4s-6 6s-1]

McClenaghan to Gambhir, THAT'S OUT!! Caught!!

13.4 - McClenaghan to Gambhir, no run, Pollard fired in a good throw and almost caught Gambhir napping at the striker's end. However, he was fine. Gambhir biffed it to Pollard at mid-off, who picked up the ball quickly and flung in a direct-hit at the batsman's end. Gambhir was looking to get inside the crease, but was late in sliding his bat in. Fortunately for him, he was just in

The third umpire has been beckoned. The batsman in question is Gambhir. But I see that he is fine and as a result, has been given not out

13.3 - McClenaghan to Gambhir, no run, the slower one that is bowled outside off, Gambhir tries to cut and misses

13.2 - McClenaghan to Gambhir, FOUR, one of McClenaghan's weapons is to bang it short. However, he does not get the desired result for using it. Gambhir aims to pull, but the delivery gets big on him. Gambhir ekes out a top-edge that runs away to the fine leg fence

12.6 - Krunal Pandya to Gambhir, 2 runs, good running between the wickets by the pair there. Gambhir works it to deep backward square leg and he takes on the fielder in the deep to sneak in another run

12.5 - Krunal Pandya to Suryakumar Yadav, 1 run, slower through the air, Yadav drives it to long-off

12.4 - Krunal Pandya to Gambhir, 1 run, too straight from Krunal Pandya, clipped to deep backward square leg

12.3 - Krunal Pandya to Gambhir, FOUR, Gambhir compiles his fifty in style. He again skips out of his crease and lifts it between two fielders wide of long-on for a boundary. He was dropped on 8 and he has made use of the chance

12.2 - Krunal Pandya to Gambhir, SIX, Gambhir is in prime form. He certainly looks a different player to the one I saw in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He dances down the track, takes it on the half volley and deposits over the deep mid-wicket fence

0.5 - Southee to Gambhir, 1 run, a little too straight from Tim, Gambhir tucks it off his pads to square leg

0.4 - Southee to Gambhir, no run, the scrambled seam delivery. That's Tim Southee for you! He is not afraid to pitch the ball up. Classic Test match stuff. Asks Gambhir to drive and he nearly falls for the trap. Flays his hands but is beaten by the away swing.

0.3 - Southee to Gambhir, no run, outside off and Gambhir lets it pass

0.2 - Southee to Gambhir, no run, this one came back in a touch, Gambhir wanted to tap it towards cover, gets an inside edge which thuds the pads

0.1 - Southee to Uthappa, 1 run, owwww! Hint of inswing for Southee. Pitches it on a full length and gets appreciable shape in and around middle. Uthappa shows one of those classic textbook straightdrives, past the non-striker for a quick single

Uthappa and Gambhir are at the crease. Uthappa is on strike. Southee will open the attack

That's a closure of Mumbai segment for this T20 League. Mumbai couldn't have asked for a better finish, ain't it? But that's not job done yet. They still have to win games and as Gambhir underscored, you don't search for excuses in cricket. The T20 League hullabaloo will now move to Pune where Pune take on Gujarat. It's a battle of newbies fellas! Don't miss out. Till tomorrow, good night and goodbye from Raju Peethala, Bharath Ramaraj and Siva.

"It was a good game, we wanted this win badly. We were pretty determined to win this and we stuck to our plans. We need to go back and understand what we need to do as a team. Pollard's form is crucial and he is peaking at the right time. I specially want to thank the Mumbai crowd. They have been superb and have always enjoyed good cricket. Unfortunately, it's our last game here and they have been waiting to see Pollard fire. Glad they got what they wanted. Whichever venue we get to play, we need to go out there and play good cricket. We have been playing here for so many years and we are not sure which ground we are going to play but we have to do well," whispers Rohit Sharma, who fittingly is awarded the Man of the Match

"We are not gonna give any excuses and we were probably 15 runs short. Their bowlers did well in the death overs and we couldn't do that. We needed an innings like Pollard but you need to give credit to the bowlers as well. They restricted us to 172 which is always a chaseable total on this wicket. I'm not someone who gives excuses about dew and et al. We are professional cricketers and we should be doing well with the bat and ball no matter how the conditions are. The toss and dew factor is not in our hands and we need to do well in the rest of the games", concedes a disappointed Gautam Gambhir.

Skipper Rohit Sharma leads from the front to hand Mumbai a facile victory. Chasing 174, it was imperative that the openers got them off to a quick start. However, they had an early hiccup when they lost Parthiv in the second over. But Rohit and in-form Rayudu played with a calm head on their shoulders to resurrect the innings. The duo unfurled a series of shots before Rayudu threw his wicket to Shakib. Buttler played a useful hand. However, it was Pollard who went bersek in the end. The West Indian cracked a 17-ball fifty and took the game away from Kolkata. Shakib and Narine were the pick of the bowlers for the visitors.

17.6 - Unadkat to Pollard, SIX, Take a bow Kieron Pollard! He finishes things off in style with a scintillating six over long-off and hands Mumbai the much needed victory. So, MUM win by 6 wickets with 2 overs to spare. Absolute blitzkrieg from the big man from the Caribbean. That knock will be remembered for quite a long time. Clouts this full delivery over long-off and hurls a flying kiss....Hugs Rohit Sharma and pumps his fists. On the other hand, Jaydev Unadkat falls just one short of his fifty (He'll never ever look at that bowling figures, you bet). Oh, poor lad!

17.5 - Unadkat to Pollard, no run, full outside off, Pollard swings and misses

The TV umpire has been pressed into the service to check if the catch is clean but I have a hunch that's OUT. It was flattish and wide of off, Buttler went for the flat-batted biff. Didn't time it all that well and hit it high and straight towards Lynn at long-off. Now comes the drama: Lynn leaps high to his right, snaffles with both hands and quickly realizes that the momentum will take him beyond the ropes. Flings the ball back into play before he crosses the ropes. Done with such serenity! Take a bow Lynn. It took 5 minutes for the TV umpire to rule that OUT.
