Due to some technical problems, we are unable to cover live matches on our site and app. We are working on it and will be back soon. Please stay tuned for more.

Welcome back, Bangladesh openers are ambling out to the middle and we are moments away from the start of chase...

Zimbabwe definitely lost the plot during the last 6-7 overs. At one stage, they looked good to get to a far bigger total, courtesy Masakadza who got the highest T20I score by a Zimbabwean against Bangladesh. But Mustafizur bowled with a lot of heart to restrict the Zimbabwean juggernaut and kept it below 170. However, it is still a good total here and Bangladesh will need a few good knocks up the order to chase this one down. Join us in a while for the second half...

Zimbabwe have lost another T20I game and they will have to sort out a few questions before they face the hosts on 17th of this month. Bangladesh, on the other hand, will try to continue the winning momentum. Don't forget to join us on Sunday for the second game of the tourney. Meanwhile, you can also hop tabs to check what is happening in the 3rd Test between South Africa and England. It is bye from us here, enjoy your weekend. Take care!

Hamilton Masakadza (Man of the Match): "I could have put a few more runs for the team. So it is disappointing. It has always been a good wicket here, it was good to bat once again. I was in, other guys were coming. So, I had to make sure that I stayed right till the end to get a few more runs. Some good guys are coming up and things are looking good for us."

Mortaza: "Yeah, it was clinical performance by batting, bowling we can imporove. The way Shakib finished, it was brilliant. Tamim was calm in the beginning of the innings. At one stage, they looked like getting 180 but Mustafizur and Al-Amin bowled brilliantly. Obviously, very pleased. It is just a start, we have to keep going from here."

Chigumbura: "Yeah, definitely, a good result with the bat. We could not maximize it though. The way Mustafizur bowled, it was tough for someone to come in and hit straightaway. I think finishing off the games is going to be important. On a good wicket like this, the bowlers did a good job, we did not back it up by fielding by dropping a few chances."

An easy win for Mortaza's men in the end. 163 was a good total on this track but the Bangladesh batsmen showed patience after losing a few wickets in the middle to seal this one. The experience of Shakib once again did the trick for them, he kept his calm and was amply supported by Nurul from the other end. Earlier, it was pocket-size dynamite Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman who got a good partnership in the middle overs to keep Bangladesh in the chase. Zimbabwe will rue their luck, their middle order failed else they could have posted at least 20 more on the board. When they came into bowl, the hosts never allowed them to settle in and runs kept leaking. This is also the highest run chase by Bangladesh in T20Is. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...
