Welcome back, the home team have a big task on hand..Adam Milne will open the attack with one slip in place

On the back of George Worker's quick-fire knock, the tourists reached a massive total. Kane Williamson and Martin Guptill gave New Zealand a rousing start. However, Craig Ervine took a fine catch in the deep off Muzarabani's bowling to dismiss Williamson. Guptill then was sent back to the pavilion by Sean Williams. It was Worker, who showed good improvisation to play eye-catching shots. In particular, he took a heavy toll off Chibhabha's bowling in the 8th over by tonking him for a four and a six. He also composed a 50 on his T20I debut. Once he perished, Luke Ronchi and Colin Munro shone brightly. Williams snared three wickets for the home team.

Williams: 'It's a good total and it should be a good chase. Hopefully, the batters can do well on this pitch. Anything can happen up front. Masakadza and Chibhabha will be the key when we come out to bat. If they can get us off to a good start, we can probably chase it down. It looks quite flat out there. It is a bumpy outfield but the fielding has been really good.'

So that ends New Zealand's tour of Zimbabwe. They travel to South Africa now to play 2 T20Is and 3 ODIs, while Zimbabwe have a break before their next assignment. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Looking forward to your company on another day. Goodbye!

Ervine: "Obviously the first one is pretty special (talking about his hundred in the first ODI). We were outplayed today though. The wickets have been a little bit slow, but we didn't play well today at all. We have a lot of work to do before Pakistan arrive. In this series we did well in the bowling and not in the batting. We weren't able to put in a complete performance."

Craig Ervine has been named as the Zimbabwean player of the series (ODIs and the only T20I)

Worker: "Pleasing start for me and I am pretty happy that we won. I started off in a shaky manner, but then I was able to play my shots, nice to contribute to the win. I was pretty relaxed as the boys made it really easy for me to fit in. It's a pleasure to be here, we enjoyed our time here."

George Worker is the Man of the Match

Williamson: "It was a good surface and the boys played well, special mention to George Worker. He played very well in his first game and the bowlers too did their part. It's nice to contribute to the team, overall it's been a good series for us and we are looking forward to the South Africa tour."

Chigumbura: "I wasn't a good day for us, lost too many wickets at the start and that's why we lost it. It was a good wicket to bat on. Pakistan are coming, we'll work on a few areas and hopefully we'll do well against them."

Tour summary: If we look back at the entire tour, Zimbabwe made a promising start to the ODI series by winning the first game, with Ervine anchoring the chase. However, they went on to lose the next two matches and with that the series. It was followed by a listless show in the T20I. Kane Williamson was in sublime form for the visitors in the ODI series. But he would be disappointed with the fact that he was out in the 90s twice. Martin Guptill too amassed a ton. For Zimbabwe, Hamilton Masakadza and Ervine were in good touch. Nathan McCullum and Ish Sodhi picked up five wickets each in the ODIs.

Match summary: A fine all-round show by the tourists helped them to thrash Zimbabwe in the only T20I. If George Worker essayed an enterprising knock, then the bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals to restrict the hosts to a meagre total. Adam Milne and Mitchell McClenaghan bowled with a good burst of pace to trouble the opposition ranks and made key breakthroughs. James Neesham, Ish Sodhi and Nathan McCullum were also among the wickets. Zimbabwe never seemed to be in the game after losing early wickets. Only Craig Ervine played a handy knock. New Zealand were also very good in the field. Earlier, Worker on his T20I debut, explored every nook and corner of the ground to smash a fifty. Luke Ronchi and Colin Munro notched up quick-fire cameos in the end overs.
