Welcome back. Bangladesh are in the driver's seat for now. It's not going to be easy for Pakistan to chase this down and if Bangladesh manage to take early wickets, they will put the Pakistani middle-order under a lot of pressure.
Wahab Riaz was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors as he picked up four wickets. Although Junaid Khan and Rahat Ali bowled decently, the returning Saeed Ajmal took a pasting and conceded 67 runs in his last 6 overs. Can Pakistan chase this down? We'll find out in a while.
So Bangladesh have finished with 329/6 - their highest score in ODIs. After opting to bat first, openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar got Bangladesh off to a good start before the latter was run-out. Mahmudullah, who had a wonderful World Cup, threw his wicket away early, but Tamim combined well with Mushfiqur Rahim and the duo thrashed the Pakistani bowlers to all corners as they registered their respective hundreds. They were also involved in a record 178-run stand - the highest for Bangladesh for any wicket in ODIs. Although both perished at the fag end of the innings, Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman took the score past 300 with some fine hits.
